Brentford are a bit of a problem for us, we rarely beat them.
They are having a real problem scoring, creating loads but missing Maupay.
Always been poor away from home Brentford, its what has stopped them getting up as their home form is always really good.
I think we can beat them, slow starters as well, not in their stride yet.
Valid point Cjay.
Better to play them now while they are still adjusting to life without Maupay than when they are in an 8-10 game unbeaten run and full of confidence.
I hope Pontus gets a good reception but at the same time has a mare.

I think I remember him doing the same with Bamford at the beginning of last season - didn;t start him for a month or so. Maybe it's the same thinking.
I just hope we can get him up to speed real quick, costa and pablo to rip up defenses and phillips to protect them.
No rush for me mate, let opposition teams get used to things as they are and then have to rethink their tactics later on in the season as they face a non-fatigued Costa on the wing and a less pressured Pablo in the centre. Provided the injury gods are kind this time around, of course.
Bamford was an extreme case as I believe he arrived injured, so I don't think Costa's introduction will be that long in coming, but there's no real reason to rush either.
Expect same side apart from the potential changes needed if Cooper, Douglas and Ali are our. Forshaw was the main change I would’ve made, but he’s really growing into his position.
Are brenford the best side we’ve come up against so far?
I realised I was dyslexic when I went to a toga party dressed as a goat..
Harrison may have to be a bit defensive tonight with Alio behind him..tbh not sure which of those two is the better defender. No Jack Clarke on the bench, Shackleton preferred, even with a player down..Hope we don't have a pay or play deal with Spuds

Not necessarily Shackleton prefered as we already have 5 loanees in the matchday squad;
White
Harrison
Meslier
Costa
Nketiah
A case of him being behind Harrison and Costa in the pecking order.
Unbelievable short odds on a Leeds win tonight 8/13 - almost. It means for every pound you put on, you'd only win just over 50p which Brentford are 9/2. For every 2 pounds you put on, you'd almost win a tenner....
