Destiny still in our own hands

Post by YorkshireSquare »

Fulham may well go second tonight with victory over Millwall but our fate is very much in our own hands...

Leeds United
Bristol City (H) 7th
Reading (H) 16th
Middlesbrough (A) 18th
Hull City (A) 15th
Huddersfield (H) 20th
Cardiff City (A) 10th
Fulham (H) 3rd
Luton Town (H) 24th
Blackburn (A) 8th
Stoke City (H) 21st
Swansea City (A) 9th
Barnsley (H) 23rd
Derby County (A) 13th
Charlton (H) 19th

We only play 4 teams in the top 10 but we still have to play teams currently ranked; 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 23rd. It's a great run in on paper. Fulham have to play Millwall, Preston, Bristol City, Brentford, Forest and West Brom.

Wow that is spooky YS.
I literally just looked on Fulham's website to see their remaining fixtures and was about to post what you have.
They also have to play Sheff Wed by the way.

time after time its been proven it means f**k all who we've got to or haven't got to play .

recent and past results have shown there's no easy games regardless of league position .

as faaip says one game at a time .

As long as these cup finals aren’t played in London.

Thanks

Thought for the day.
Of the 78 games with Marcello Bielsa in charge
In only 15 of those have seen Leeds outside the top 2
and his side has never been out of the top 6.
- Phil Hay

Those are batshit crazy stats... thank God Bielsa is steadfast.

I'm not for a minute saying we have an easier run, we don't, only pointing out that teams in and around the top 6 have to play each other and therefore points will be dropped.
Games against teams fighting relegation will be just as difficult as Wigan have already shown.

Ah Rome raises its ugly head...

By heritage or by choice may I ask?

There's always a choice, isn't there. I studied Carmelite mystical theology for about 20 years. Don't worry, I'm thoroughly lapsed.

Blackburn will probably getb back in that mix as well, and we have an away day to them.

Also away twice in Wales wont be easy pickings.
