That's a real shame mate

Yes I did make significant changes :

  • Eliminated the premiership champion album
  • More promoted/relegated albums creating different matches
  • Introducing twelve new albums in League Two
Maybe it's a boredom thing with Faaip & yourself even though it's only five minutes of ones time once every two weeks or so

I'm arguing my case as running this competition is much more time-consuming for me then those who participate in this poll

How long before folk become bored with the Mega Favourite Song Poll ? then what.....

It's very difficult trying to keep MOT fresh & lively.

A sad 64

I think the main problem for me is especially in the bottom 2 leagues, there is not many albums I actually like, so end up voting because I possibly like 1 or 2 songs off an album rather than non of another, just so as to give a vote. I know it's only 5 minutes and we all fully appreciate your efforts, infact it's because of this that I've carried on as long as I have tbh but if something becomes uninteresting no matter how long it takes, it's still an effort.

The mega song poll may become boring who knows, some rounds are better than others, ie the last round is probably the first time I've not voted for either song in some of the years, as for my tastes it was the worst songs chosen in a round so far but the next round could be the best set yet, that's the beaury of it, it's different songs, not a lot of the same pretty much constantly.

I'll take that as a compliment & I do appreciate your continued commitment on my behalf

The Mega Song Poll is more interesting with a quick turnover of rounds, hopefully it will retain it's intensity

Thank you for your reply Ges

It's the repetition and 3 years is a long time to be making exactly the same judgement over and over. As you say 64 has done marvels keeping it going as long as he has, I'm not commenting on the effort. I've just lost the interest.

Now if we want another musical themed thread I suggest doing something like Radio 6's the Chain, that might be interesting and possibly enlightening
BPF - Beradi - Jansson - Phillips - Cooper - Douglas - Alioski - Klich - Hernandez - Roofe - Clarke

"objective fan" - is that a consistent oxymoron?"

Isn't something where you have to select three (I think) songs between which there's a connection. I've only heard it a few times.
