There is an argument to say that last season was both a success and a failure. Whatever your view on that it was certainly a transformational season for Leeds United. Andrea Radrizzani recruited a world class head coach in Marcelo Bielsa, with the aim of leading Leeds United back to the promised land. It was one of the most dramatic seasons in the club’s history as fans, players and a city came together and started to dream of a return to the top flight. Now a new Amazon Prime series ‘Take Us Home: Leeds United’, from the makers of ‘Do You Want To Win?’, tells the story of that season.

In Bielsa’s first season we attracted great media interest to Leeds United both in England and around the world. We achieved our highest points total in nearly 29 years, our highest league position since we won promotion from League 1 under Simon Grayson. The fanbase became united again and reconnected with the club in a way which has not been seen for many years. Leeds for better or worse are genuine box office again. A brand of football was played at Elland Road that you usually only see in the top leagues with top players. Take Us Home: Leeds United goes behind the scenes to reveal how that transformation took place.

The foundations were laid to push on this season. A philosophy and style of play has been instilled at all levels of the club, our players have improved across the board and we have an exciting crop of youngsters coming through. This isn't the beginning of the end, it's the end of the beginning and Take Us Home: Leeds United tells the story of that beginning.
