Leeds United’s international players making debuts and scoring goals

Leeds United have had several players representing their countries at various age groups over the past couple of days, with a particularly strong presence in the England setup.
Leeds have had more players called up for England duty than two-thirds of the Premier League. Including loanees, Leeds have five players in various age groups. Nohan Kenneh (U17s), Edmondson (Eng U19s), Jamie Shackleton & Jack Clarke (Eng U20s) whilst Eddie Nketiah will team up with the England U21s. No other EFL club has had as many players called up to the Three Lions, while Arsenal (five), Everton (also five), Liverpool (seven), Tottenham (seven), Manchester United (eight), Chelsea (nine) and Manchester City (ten) are the only clubs to have had as many or more call ups than Leeds.
Nohan Kenneh featured in England U17s 5-0 victory over Finland in the Syrenka Cup, the England U20s played out a 0-0 draw with Holland with Jack Clarke a 66th minute substitute whilst Jamie Shackleton was an unused substitute. The England U19 and U21 sides both won their games with Leeds United players featuring on the scoresheet in both matches…
On his U19s debut Ryan Edmondson scored England's second goal in 3-1 victory over Greece. Greece had opened the scoring but along with Edmondson's strike further goals from Daniel Adshead (Norwich) and Thomas Doyle (Man City) lead England to victory...
Eddie Nketiah continued his recent goal scoring form for Leeds United, opening the scoring after just 4 minutes in England's U21 Euro qualifiers game against Turkey...
After going 2-1 down Nketiah drew the scores level with his second goal of the night. England would go on to beat Turkey 3-2 after Reiss Nelson (Arsenal) scored the winner with 15 minutes to go...
Gianni Alioski also featured in North Macedonia's Euro qualifiers 1-1 draw against Israel with an assist to his name. Alioski's free kick was headed in by Arijan Ademi for their equaliser...
Two Leeds players also made their full international debuts with Liam Cooper featuring in Scotland’s 2-1 Euro qualifiers defeat to Russia whilst Alfie McCalmont came on as a 60th minute substitute in Northern Ireland's 1-0 friendly victory over Luxembourg. Stuart Dallas was also called up for Northern Ireland but did not feature in Thursdays friendly game, he will be expected to feature in their Euro qualifiers game against Germany on Monday.
Mateusz Klich played 70 minutes in Polands 2-1 Euro qualifiers defeat against Slovenia whilst Mateusz Bogusz was an unused sub in Polands U21 game against Latvia. Kun Temenuzhkov came on as an 83rd minute substitute in Bulgarias U21 Euro qualifiers 4-1 victory over Estonia whilst Niall Huggins was an unused sub in Wales U21 1-0 victory over Belgium.
