"Arsenal, not so special. Manchester United, even we can beat them" - Gjanni Alioski

Gjanni Alioski showed little respect for the Premier League big boys during his press conference with Marcelo Bielsa ahead of Monday’s Arsenal FA Cup tie. The Macedonian winger admitted it would be a surprise for Leeds United to win, “Premier League is strong. You have big teams. City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man U but you can always try something to win. For us it would be a surprise” but that Leeds would definitely give it a go, “If we are in the Premier League so Leeds will be one of the biggest club. The only different is the leagues. We're going to go there to try.”

When asked if Arsenal were a tough opponent he didn’t think they were so special…

Maybe it's nice because it's a good stadium and a big club but it's not so special to think to go there because it's Arsenal. If Leeds are in the Premier League then we are a big club. It's nice to go there to show them who is Leeds.

Asked if Arsenal would have confidence having beaten Manchester United on New Years Day, Alioski was pretty dismissive of our rivals from across the Pennines…

Even I see the result against Manchester United, but this Manchester United from this year, even we can beat them.
