With Leeds set to secure the signing of highly rated forward Charlie Allen from Linfield, they are hunt again for young talent, but this time they don't have to go as far as Northern Ireland. Teenage sensation Luke Brennan has played a major part this season in helping Blackburn Rovers reach the FA Youth Cup semi-finals this season. He scored in their 4-1 demolition of Arsenal and has been a regular scorer and creator for the Lancashire outfit’s Under 18s.

The direct and pacey winger can play down either flank but he has starred down the left for Rovers this season. Having registered seven assists in 12 games and grabbing a goal, the 18-year-old was promoted their U23 side and has made seven Premier League 2 appearances this season. Fans over at the BRFCS .com forum describe Brennan as having two great feet, a great crosser of the ball and has work rate to go as well. A great prospect but possible not ready for Championship football yet, another one for the future in the same vein as recent signings Stuart McKinstry and Liam McCarron.

Brennan has been with the Rovers academy for more than a decade after joining at Under-7s level but his performances this season has brought interest from a number of Championship and Premier League clubs. With Blackburn languishing towards the bottom of the Championship and Leeds potentially on the precipice of promotion to the Premier League it could be difficult for the Lancashire club to keep hold of one of their brightest stars.

The Coronavirus pandemic has caused a financial crisis for some clubs and Victor Orta could be set to take advantage with Leeds in a relatively strong position compared to other clubs in the Championship and towards the bottom of the Premier League.

Sounds a lot like Jack Harrison to me.
