Ever since the rumours of Leeds United signing a new kit deal with Adidas for the 2020/2021 season there have been concept kits and speculation all over social media. But now football rumours website Footy Headlines has revealed what it claims is a leak of Leeds United’s new Adidas away shirt for next season. The shirt features a clean, classic Adidas look, with stripes in two shades of blue, combined with gold Adidas stripes and a tape on the inner neck. There are some echoes with the 1994/95 blue and green shirt work by Tony Yeboah and the 2008/09 blue striped shirt work by Jermaine Beckford.
The Adidas logo is embroidered on the right of the chest with the Leeds United shield on the left-hand side. The two-tone blue stripes continue onto the back and sleeves as well and on the back, just below the collar, is a small Yorkshire rose. There are no sponsors logos on the ‘leaked’ images but 32Red still have a year left on their deal with Leeds having signed a two-year extension last summer. If these are images of the real design, Leeds will hope to wear this new shirt in their first Premier League campaign since 2003/04 next season following the switch from Kappa.
What do you think? Is it Leeds enough for you?
