Transfer Deadline Day Special

Good Morning Everyone. It's Monday 5th October, and here are the latest headlines from Elland Road...
Transfer Deadline Day
Its Transfer Deadline Day. No transfers can take place between Premier League clubs or with foreign clubs after 11pm tonight. Domestic transfers (both loans or permanent) between Premier League and EFL clubs may take place until October 16th at 5pm.
With hours only remaining until the transfer window slams shut (excluding deals from lower domestic leagues) will Leeds land the players Bielsa wants to launch a full out attack on the Premiership! The Whites have already added the likes of Rodrigo, Diego Llorente and Helder Costa but have wasted significant time in their pursuit of Josko Gvardiol and Bayern star Michael Cuisance. Sources close to Elland Road suggest there could be a couple of surprises today! Whether that means incomings out outgoings - nobody knows. If you hear a rumour, however insignificant - We want to hear about it!
Raphinha Flying In
The big rumour of the day is Brazilian winger Raphinha, Spanish football journalist Guillem Balague has reported that Leeds were in for other wingers including Alex Fernández (Cádiz) but there is no need for that type of player now as Leeds have landed Rennes winger Raphinha. The 23 year old winger only joined the French outfit a year ago for £18m flew into England last night ahead of travelling to Leeds today to complete terms on a deal beleived to be 5 year long.
Orta to raid Valancia again?
Valencia are understood to need cash in before the transfer window closes due to their precarious financial position. One way to bring in funds quickly would be the sale of midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia. Leeds United have already done business with Valencia this window, bringing in record signing Rodrigo from the Spanish club and they have now joined the list of clubs interested in Kondogbia. Fulham, Hertha Berlin and Southampton are also said to be in the running. Kondogbia has a price tag stands at €15 million, not bad for a strong central midfielder with fantastic experience who has previously played for Inter Milan, Monaco, Sevilla and Lens.
Cantwell, Campana and James...
Leeds have until 16th October if they wanted to sign Norwich City's Todd Cantwell. The 22 year old midfielder has been continually linked to a move to Elland Road with a price tag of £21m being mentioned. With the deal for Michael Cuisance falling through late last week due to a failed medical the 10/8 role is still one Marcelo Bielsa would be keen to fill this window.
Leeds are still interested in Levante’s 27 year old midfielder Jose Campana, but are playing hardball at €15m. The La Liga side are looking for a fee of around €25m. It is beleived that while a 'formal offer' from the Whites has been rebuffed, the La Liga outfit are still open to a sale but they are seeking a significant price.
With Raphinha set to sign can we put talk of Dan James behind us? The winger was was left out of Manchester Utd's squad yesterday as the Red Devils were thumped 6-1 at home against Spurs. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's main target continues to be Bayern Munich's Jadon Sancho but the German Champions want £107m. It would certainly reduce the financial burden if Leeds were to pay £25m for the Welshman who joined them form Swansea last Summer for £15m. But is it a deal Leeds would still be interested in doing?
