Good Morning. Its Monday 23rd November, and here are the latest headlines from Elland Road...

Radrizzani preparing bid for La Liga outfit

Various media outlets are reporting that Leeds Chairman Andrea Radrizzani is preparing a bid to take over cash strapped La Liga outfit Valencia. If Successful, the Sports Broadcasting magnate will have to clear the clubs debts starting with a £24m to balance the books. We have seen how much money it takes to get a club promoted to the Premier league. How much will it take to ensure a 34th successive top flight stay for Valencia. The articles claim the Spanish club would become a feeder club for Leeds!

Woodwork saves Gunners from defeat

Luckless Leeds struck the woodwork three times in the last ten minutes as the 10 men Gunners clung onto a point to take back to North London. The Whites dominated in large periods from the tenth minute, never letting the visitors have time and space on the ball. It wasn't until the 60th minutes that Arteta's team had their first strike on target. Their only other effort was well dealt with late on by Meslier.

Leeds on the other hand had 25 attempts at goal; however only four were on target. Arsenal were reduced to 10 men five minutes into the second half when 75m signing Pepe headbutted Alioski who went down like he'd been shot. Action replays show that Pepe's head had indeed made contact with Alioski, though very slight. Would you have called the red card? From this point on, it was more or less one way traffic. Unfortunately, Leeds have only a point to show for their efforts, and have only won once in their past six Premier League games.

Raphinha became the first Brazilian to start a Premier League game for Leeds since Roque Junior in 2003, What did you think of his full debut? What do you think his best position is? Phillips and Rodrigo returned to first team action. How much did we miss them?

I doubt that we’ve paid them the whole lot up front - maybe there’s some leverage there from Radz’s end to be factored in, either in goodwill or hard cash? He’s a shrewd operator after all.

And I know you were jesting. :)

Mmmm forgot about Rod coming from there perhaps we’d negotiated a BOGOF deal and we are getting Valencia for free :duno:

Very unlucky yesterday but we really should have done a lot better with some of the chances. Nice to see we can dominate sides like that. With Rodrigo and Raphinha we have plenty of quality going forward. Yesterday probably showed the importance of continuing to strengthen the 1st team,

Valencia? It's an exciting idea. Would no doubt be great for us in the long run. But no doubt it would cash strap Radrizzani and Leeds in the short term. Worries - Valencia has tons of potential and who's to say that wouldn't become Radrizzani's first priority?
