Good Morning. It's Friday 18th December, and here are the latest headlines from Elland Road...
Leeds keep tabs on Norwegian ace
Leeds are fighting it out with Newcastle Utd over Norwegian U21 International Fredrik Andre Bjorkan. The 22-year-old left-back came up through the ranks with Bodo Glimt from the Norwegian top division. His defensive displays has been attracting attention all over Europe. Celtic held talks over Bjorkan in the summer, but were unable to secure a deal.
Bodo are set to win the Norwegian title this weekend. They are 19 points clear of nearest rivals Molde. Do Leeds need a recognised left back or are there more concerning area's of the pitch that need strengthening come January?
Who should Leeds top priority be in the January transfer window?
The January transfer window opens in less than a fortnight. As normal, we can expect to be linked to dozens of superstars all over the globe. If Bielsa was given the reigns to sign two players, which players / positions are in need of being filled?
We spent the best part of £100m during the Summer window, so I wouldn't expect them to break the bank unless they can find players who will improve their starting XI. The same question regarding outgoing players. We can expect to see both Shaughnessy and Grot depart in the New Year but are there any players that could be sold to recoup money?
