UEFA Champions League has been amazing so far, and it’s entering the final phase with only 8 teams left on the scene. We can’t wait to see the exciting battles between all the tough teams from all of the European leagues. The English league has been able to hold a strong ground with three teams in the Quarter-finals. We might see these teams fighting each other in the semi-finals since they are not facing each other in the quarter-finals. Well! For now, let’s talk only about the quarter-finals; we have three English, two German, and one team each from France, Spain, and Portugal. The first leg of the quarter-finals will be held on April 6th and 7th, and here are the details of the fixtures:

Champions League Quarter-final Fixtures

Man City vs Dortmund
Match Timing: 3:00 PM ET, Tuesday, April 06

The English team Manchester City will challenge Germany’s Borussia Dortmund in the quarter-finals after its clean sheet win against another German team in the round of 16. Borussia Dortmund definitely had a close win over Sevilla. Since the 1st leg is going to happen in the Etihad Stadium, it will give City an advantage, and their great form currently is a plus. Manchester City was knocked out in the last year’s quarter-final; however, they might make it to the semi-finals this year after 2016.

Real Madrid vs Liverpool
Match Timing: 3:00 PM ET, Tuesday, April 06

The clash between Real Madrid and Liverpool is probably the most intense game out of the lot. We couldn’t see both of them in the quarter-finals last year, with both getting eliminated in the round of 16. This year, the defending champions of English and the Spanish home league will go against each other in the quarter-finals of the champions league. According to Fanduel, despite Real Madrid being the host, both the teams have equal +165 odds in their favor.

Porto vs Chelsea
Match Timing: 3:00 PM ET, Tuesday, April 06

We saw Porto had a tight game with Juventus in the Round of 16 with an away goal win. Chelsea does have a psychological advantage with two clean sheet wins on the Round of 16. But due to COVID-19 restrictions, both teams definitely lose the home ground advantage, as the legs are being hosted in Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán in Seville. The teams are currently in great form in their last five games, with only one loss, a draw with other wins for Porto, and four wins with a draw for Chelsea.

Bayern Munich vs Paris St Germain
Match Timing: 3:00 PM ET, Tuesday, April 06

Another great match to look out for is Bayern Munich going against the Paris St. Germain. Last year, we saw Bayern Munich defeat Paris St. German in the Finale of the Champions League. This year it will be interesting to see whether PSG will take revenge or would Bayern stop their journey to the Trophy. PSG seems to be in its best form with an outstanding win over Barcelona in the round of 16. But let’s see how the PSG performs in Bayern’s Turf.

These final four matches of the champion league are going to be intense. All the teams are top contenders for the European trophy. Though it’s hard to predict anything, with four teams from the Premier League in the quarter-finals, there is a high probability of the trophy heading to England this time. Either way, all the teams would give their best to compete in the finale that is going to be held in Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey, on Saturday, 29 May.
