West Ham Utd 2-3 Leeds Utd Match Thread - Harrison hattrick!

Sunday 16th January 2.00pm | London Stadium

Patrick Bamford and Rodrigo face a race against time to be available Sunday, as Leeds face their second visit in a week to the London Stadium, home of West Ham Utd. Having unjustly lost 2-0 in the FA Cup, their misery has been compounded with the news that Sam Greenwood will miss the trip to East London following the injury he picked up on Sunday. Rodrigo was spotted getting on board the plane at Leeds Bradford airport alongside Pascal Struijk. Bamford was absent due to his wife going into labour. Should Bamford and Rodrigo not be available or not deemed fit enpugh the Whites will be without any recognisable forwards. Bielsa is likely to opt for either Raphinha or James to lead the line

Bielsa will also be without Liam Cooper, Jamie Shackleton, Kalvin Phillips, Charlie Cresswell and Joe Gelhardt due to injury though Pascal Struijk has made the trip. Tyler Roberts and Diego Llorente also miss out as they serve a one match suspension, though Roberts is injured anyway. Junior Firpo will return to the starting line if he passed the concussion protocols following his coming together with Meslier last Sunday.

West Ham have no new injury worries following their 2-0 win over Norwich last night (Wednesday). Aaron Cresswell returned after almost four months on the sidelines. He completed 90 minutes, and looks set to start on Sunday. Nikola Vlasic will deputise for Said Benrahma who is away on International Duty at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Difficult to choose motm , they all played their part and obviously JH deserves special praise for his hat-trick and the composed way in which he scored all 3... something which has been lacking for a very long time in front of goal. 3 goals scored and could've easily been another 3 . Hope we've put the London hoodoo to bed now.

Just Re-watching the match.
I know Harrison scored three goals, but i think Struijk should have been man of the match. What a performance!
