Does James injury mean it's Ramazani's time to shine?

Good Morning. It's Thursday 19th September, and here are the latest headlines from Elland Road...

Does James injury mean it's Ramazani's time to shine?

After a bright start to the season, scoring against Sheffield Wednesday, Dan James has missed the last couple of matches due to a hamstring injury and doesn’t look set to return to action until after the international break next month. There is no doubt James’ pure speed beings something different to the team, a lot of Championship defenders just can’t deal with his pace and it gives Leeds an option to stretch the opposition when things are tight.

Wilfried Gnonto has been deputising on the right wing with Manor Solomon making an impact from the left. But some would prefer to see Gnonto in the No.10 role at the heart of the team, pulling the strings and creating chances from more central areas. With summer signing Largie Ramazani is yet to get his first start, could this weekend be the chance to change things up.

Who would you start on the wings against Hull City?

Things not going well for Harrison at Everton

Jack Harrison was one of the first to leave the club on a loan clause last summer, heading over the Pennines to Everton. After an inconsistent first season it may have been a surprise to some that Everton renewed the deal for the current season. But it seems Harrison’s performances have been as inconsistent as ever so far and the Everton fans are not happy, taking to social media to express their frustration.

Still can’t get over Jack Harrison pretending to not be on the pitch for the entire game other than to give Villa a goal, one dreadful footballer him why did we resign him.

The day we never see Jack Harrison again will also be great. What a sad excuse of a footballer he is.

Absolutely sick of Jack Harrison mate. What a waste of a loan.

But with a contract at Leeds until the summer of 2028 he looks certain to return to Elland Road next summer if his poor performances at Goodison Park continue. Would you take Harrison back and if not do Leeds stand any chance on selling him for a decent fee given his diminishing value?

Indeed, Bamford wouldn't have won the ball in the first place.

He would still have got slaughtered more so than Joseph, though Paddy has missed several sitters himself.

Exactly

Had Struijk who made a gut-busting run got back a couple of strides earlier, Bogle may have been able to commit himself earlier, but I can't blame him or Meslier for their goal. Koleosho hit his shot more sweetly than Joseph & Gnonto did, and that was the difference.

Just a thought, what would the reaction been like on here & social media, had Bamford missed that first minute opportunity?

And yes, you did say that. I should not have said "the rest". You, me, and a few others are keeping an open mind with regard to young Brenden. Cheers!
Indeed, Paul. ;-)
