Re: Positives & Negatives v Brighton (one of each please)
It wasn't just 2 or 3 players off colour though. I wouldn't mind having Kante in our squad, then we could play two DM's not allowing the opposition CB's to slice through our feeble midfield like a piece of cake :cake: Just imagine a proper midfield that dictates our play from the middle of the park...

Re: Positives & Negatives v Brighton (one of each please)
Yes I did. Thought we were sh*te but equally we had quite a few sh*te performances in the championship and could then suddenly go on a good run again. If we play as well as we can then we overcome any tactics/formation.

Re: Positives & Negatives v Brighton (one of each please)
Don't know why people seem to be suggesting teams/managers have found a way to negate Bielsa. We saw it in the championship where we'd play sh*t for a couple of matches , not look like scoring etc, but would then sudddenly click back into our way of play. We just have to accept that when 2 or 3 play...

Points don't really help them a great deal though. They need wins to get away from danger. Despite our problems we ae better of winning and losing than drawing.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 13th January) Does Rodrigo offer enough to justify his place and his price tag
Rodrigo looks to have a great attitude and work rate, he is adjusting to the no.10 role and also the way we play. We have seen it with many of the new players that they take time to adjust and when players speak about Bielsa they usally say stuff along the lines of how he got them thinking about the...

Re: Should Football Be Shut Down Until The End Of January?
Internationals should have never started up again. The risk there is that one player could pass the virus onto many players from different clubs. Playing club v club there is much less risk. I heard that the testing had gone down to just 1 test per week which seems ludicrous and no wonder if it has ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 12th January) - Llorente missing from U23s game no cause for concern
Llorente. Great, its January and he is yet to complete a match, He better be bloody good!!!!! Gotta be pretty decent to play for Spain ahead of Barca, Real or Athletico Madrid players. Think people need to get over the Kiko wages situation. The reason we got Kiko on a free was because we agreed to ...

Re: Meslier - a balanced opinion (hopefully)
To put it bluntly he is young and will make mistakes but the key is to learn from them. Same as any position on the pitch but it is highlighted more when a keeper makes an error. Leave him alone and he will be fine.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 4th January) Spurs extend Leeds London misery
Rio just another ex player with no managerial experience trotting out stupid quotes. So we go into a defensive shape (good idea considering we only have 1 fit centre back) and suddenly what we will go out and beat Liverpool, Spurs, Man City etc. F*cking b*llend. Playing the way we do we were unlucky...

Re: Mot Member of the year !
Would go for Cjay. As we have seen this week with the pundits anyone can spout nonsense without doing any research. Cjay puts his points across and gives evidence/facts to back them up so even if you disagree with him his views are extremely valid. A lot of great members on here who make this site t...

and how much less would the squad be worth without Bielsa's influence. Would KP have hit these heights under a different manager, Dallas, Ayling etc.

The interesting team there is Fulham who seem to have improved a lot. However despite being unbeaten 4 draws from 4 games doesn't really do them much good.

Nigel Martyn tweeted that at the same age as Messlier he was playing in some Cornwall cup final.
Messlier is very young for a keeper.

Yes a suprisingly decent read the MU forum. That said I liked the way MU played under Fergie and you knew when you watched them it would be an entertaining game so maybe some of them have similar feelings now when watching us.

Re: Other fans forum opinions
I wonder what percentage of WBA fans stopped watching when they went 2,3,4-0 down compared to the percantage of Leeds fans that stopped watching against MU when we were 4-0 down. That is the main trouble with such negative defensive tactics, once you go 1-0 down it is generally game over. If Liverpo...

Re: Match Of The Day/Football Focus
Pundits once again proving how clueless they are about us and Bielsa. We don't need to "play like Burnley" and park the bus for 90 mins to keep a clean sheet. No team has kept more clean sheets than us since Bielsa's been here. Indeed. Dominate the opposition, keep the ball and they can't cr...

Re: Gambling and the demon drink
The bookie always wins in the long run. He sets the odds. And bookies love accumulator bets. There is always one leg that fails. Not if you know what you are doing - unfortunately the b*ggers limit how much you can bet very quickly when they spot you as someone who isn't a straightforward punter. I...
