Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 9th December) - Klich thunderbolt seals Leeds win and Festa d’Elx trophy

Players need games to get ready for the league. So not meaningless at all. Orta still living rent free I see... And it is Reilly , if you are determined to insult the man the least you could do is spell your tropes correctly. Apparently you are both wrong. It is Riley Sydney Riley was a chara...

Re: Jack Harrison- Stick or twist

Or, if we sell Jack in January and Marsch has us in the bottom three at the end of February, so we bring in a new coach who doesn't play that system... because no one does. Meanwhile Jack is flying at top six Newcastle... It all seems incredibly short sighted to me. The more we Marschify the squad,...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 8th December) - Gakpo: I had doubts about joining Leeds

Darko Gyabi - Not just Tyler, but Marc, Klichy, all the midfielders. Learning, just learning the little details like where their positioning is when we don’t have the ball and when we do have the ball the spaces they’re picking up to receive . Then I made my first team debut and realised that everyt...

Just show them a cake. As a pre dinner nibble with a chilled glass of fino a vegetable crisp is the business. If you’ve spent time in Spain you must have got in to the culture. Pintxos or tapas would be better but you can’t get that here as the fat people eat it all Don't get me wrong when they put...

Re: Rugby Union - Next England manager.

Stick to footy my furry friend. Wales at last three WCs is 2011 SF lost 9-8 to France. 2015 QF lost 23-19 to SA (beat England in the pool match). 2019 SF lost 19-16 to SA Not sure that’s failing dismally. Oh so not winning any of those 3 matches you highlight is your definiton of not failing???? Pu...

Re: Rugby Union - Next England manager.

I liked the appointment of EJ and originially he did well. I liked how he treated the 6 nations with the contempt it deserves (really it is just a competition for England haters) and was only really interested in using it as a training exrecise to prepare for the world cup (unlike Wales who thinks i...

Re: Brazil Need a Reality Check

Don’t like the total love in from the media, especially commentators at their games. Everything they do, and I do mean everything, results in a buttery orgasmic delivery from match commentators. The best goal last night was from S Korea. Imagine if Naimar had scored it. Agree 100%. Brazil are the M...

All my thoughts on Aldi are in the MOT vaults. Their vegetable crisps are the best on the market. If you can wrestle one off a fat person that is Good luck with that! Their cheapo pizzas are good too, my girls love them. Never seen the point of crisps, they don't fill you up and are just empty calo...

Exciting game Weasel, it should be what sport lovers want, the Aussies have done it with success for years. It's only miserable fckers that do the moaning and find summert to moan about, it's just their nature and character, they can't help themselves. We used to have fantastic exciting football at...

Re: England v Pakistan

I would have liked then to have another 5 overs of slogging and have added say another 50 or 60 runs to the total. That said if they did that they maybe wouldn't have got the 2 wickets. I just feel with a few more runs they could really crowd the batsman and not have needed to worry about the ball ...

Re: England v Pakistan

Great game of cricket and the sort of match that test cricket needs, the stadium full on the 5th day and even though Pakistan lost their fans got great entertainment. In the past we'd have had England batting and maybe making an attritonal 400 to 500. Pakistan then probably hit 700 and England strug...

Re: January 2023 Transfers and Squad Discussion

All speculation. Gvardiol wanted to remain at his club in Croatia for another year, doubt we wanted to spend nearly £20m and leave him there. RB could afford to do that whereas for us, as a newly promoted club, we really needed to be spending on players to be part of our first team squad. Yes likely...

Re: January 2023 Transfers and Squad Discussion

I'd be mortified if we ended up paying that much for Perkins tbh. The price is based on the here and now not the potential future surely? At the here and now he is barely on nodding terms with 1st team football. I think we got the balance wrong with keeping the u21s tbh, even Bielsa admitted that h...

Re: January 2023 Transfers and Squad Discussion

We won't pay close to £5mil for Perkins. £1-2mil tops (we only want to pay £750k) Gnonto is the sort of de we should be doing as well as proven players (not instead of, let's not forget Gnonto was a last minute rush). This lad is a Gnonto type potential deal we should be doing as well as first team...

Re: January 2023 Transfers and Squad Discussion

Sort of transfer we should be doing imo. You can't just keep throwing £500k, £1mil at a prospect and hope for the best. He is apparently available for £5mil. Similar fee Brighton paid for Moises Caicedo and Alexis Mac Allister, loaned them out for a while and now look at them. Similar then to the s...
