Re: The Leeds United States Of America, New dawn.
A very tricky one to judge. We could do well despite Marsch in that the signings we make are good enough to outweigh poor tactics and we find ourselves able to win more matches than at least 3 other teams. Equally though Marsch could perform really well but the new signings all flounder and we get r...

Re: Kalvin Phillips.- Minto/Cascarino/Talksport discuss KP's move
Unless the other clubs were the other Manchester mob or Chelsea... In which case he is sticking by his principles of being a Leeds fan. I would agree. From the sounds MU were interested and we don't know if other clubs were. From KP's point of view it makes great sense to go to City. He will have a...

Re: Everton Thread
Most likely balancing books before year end today, hence the urgency to push it in June. Regardless they will end up buying PL rejects like Winks, this will adversely affect them. Bueno! Can see them getting a couple of loan deals from Chelsea, wouldn't be surprised to see Conor Gallacher going the...

1542368452362604544 Second time in a matter.of weeks he has been seen going to Brussels. Should be remembered also that Eindhoven is fairly close to Brussels as well. Not a huge amount of difference in distance actually. Bout 81 miles to Eindhoven where Cody Gakpo lives. Bout 65miles to Bruges wher...

Re: Raphinha - Deco still talking to Barcelona, Chelsea waiting for a response
Genuinely couldn't agree with you anymore to be fair. He needs to break away from Deco ASAP before he destroys his career. Why would he want to leave Deco if Raphihna's dream move is to go to Barcelona? If Raphihna has his heart set on Barca then it would appear Deco is doing all that he can to get...

Re: Summer 2022 transfer speculation and squad discussion
We all knew KP and Raph were going weeks if not months ago. Lucy Ward whose known KP since he was a kid said she knew weeks ago so the club knew to. They should have been further down the line with players imo. But we don't know how far down the line we are with further incoming players and at this...

Re: Your Lows Of The 2021/22 Season.
Dallas's miss v Spurs was the low point for me (in the game we lost 4-0 at ER). For all we lost 4-0, and deservedly lost, the good chances we missed summed up for me the struggles of the season and Dallas's miss when he had an open goal was the real icing on the cake.

Re: Darko Gyabi - for 5M ? Yes or No
To put it towards buying someone we need now, not an 18 yo we probably won't play for about 2 years. Aren't we supposed to be virtually potless. There has to be a balance between short term planning and long term planning though. If we get players like Gelhardt, Greenwood, Cresswell and others comi...

They look the same it is just when you bite into them that you realise they are stale (they are basically hard instead of soft) and don't taste nice.

Re: Summer 2022 transfer speculation and squad discussion
Don't like that we haven't got replacements in before selling. We seemingly haven't got replacements close either. So that fir me is bad planning. Couldn't we afford to line up deals for replacements before selling? Very probably. But now teams know we are desperate and newly minted (soon) It's not...

Re: Marcelo Bielsa.
Not wanting to rehash old ground. The Bielsa we will create more chances than you falls down as Weasel says if you don't take a High proportion of your chances. We were never prolific under Bielsa and missed tons of chances becausethe players weren't good enough. A large part of that was because un...

I will have to try freezing them next time. The trouble then though is having to wait for one to defrost when you want one straightaway! i definitely think I could be one of those people who drop dead on the football pitch and everyone says, "He looked so healthy!"

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 29th June) - Raphinha set for Chelsea move
In comparing us to the Leicester model people tend to look at Leicester of the last 3 or 4 years (title winners and on the fringes of European qualifying) and judge us against that rather than actually looking at Leicester of the last 10 years and how they spent a few years narrowly avoiding relegat...

How long you can keep a doughnut before it goes stale?
Any tips for keeping doughnuts, or donuts for our American friends, fresh? I have a friend, incredible as it may seem, who used to work for a well known doughnut (donut) factory and part of his job was to collect doughnuts (donuts) from the shops towards the end of the evening if they hadn't sold. T...

Blah, blah, blah blah, and repeat, blah, blah, blah. blah. If you don't want to talk about Bielsa or read about Bielsa why come onto this thread? 64 did a great job by moving threads onto this dedicated page so people don't need to see Bielsa related posts on several other threads, yes occasionally...

Re: Darko Gyabi - for 5M ? Yes or No
Interestingly Manchester City have agreed to sell England Under-19 international Sam Edozie, 19, to German club Bayer Leverkusen for £10m . Both Edozie and Darko Gyabi came through at Millwall and were then snapped up[ by City (Gyabi went first and then Edozie a few months later). Edozie I think is ...

Re: Raphinha - Chelsea closing in on a deal (David Ornstein)
rapha has given us two great years of service - if he wants to leave, let's let him (as long as the fee is reasonable - 100 mill is too high) if we started blocking him from moving we would end up (1) with an unhappy player on our books, probably underperforming and (2) other players would be less ...
