His name was Billy Bremner, We will never forget his deeds

https://motforum.com/images/th/billy-bremner.png Today marks the day, 22 years ago, when we lost the captain of our crew Billy Bremner. The core of Don Revie's great Leeds United sides alongside Johnny Giles. The diminutive Bremner was skilful and his passing, leadership, never-say die attitude and...

Re: Looks like we signing Spanish Keeper In January Transfer window

Phil Hay reckons Bielsa will use Meslier if Kiko is banned. Not sure I see the point of this signing, unless Kiko is leaving... Issue is our loans, we have three already in the starting line-up; Costa, White and Harrison. With Meslier in goal you then have to choose between Nketiah and Clarke in ou...

Re: Bielsa press conference pre Huddersfield - 05/12/19

White has the ability to play defensive midfield, it's about positioning though. How will he adabbt to having to be that bit furhter foward, especially with Berra behind who is not a natural central defender.

Leeds cannot afford to test Phillips' loyalty

https://www.motforum.com/images/th/PhillipsPogba.png Kalvin Phillips has been one of the foundation pieces of Leeds’ push for promotion to the Premier League. Marcelo Bielsa has built his team around the midfielder and it has been one of the key factors propelling the Whites into the top two of the...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 4th December) Alarming statistic Leeds won't want to replicate this season

I dont think we 'burned out' last season, the stats still show we had as much posession and chances as we always did.

For whatever reason we lost it mentally in games like Wigan and Derby.

Confidence is key to handing out thrashings like Saturday

https://motforum.com/images/th/Leeds-v-Middlesbrough.jpg Confidence does wonders in sport, and from the very first minutes of Saturdays game you could see the Leeds players oozing with it. Luke Ayling’s speculative first minute shot, Harrisons take on and cross, Bamford’s confidence to hold his pos...

Re: Expected Goals (xG)

People talking about Brentford putting 7 past Luton today where we stuggled to break them down.

But we're 10 points ahead of Brentford with a better goal difference. Know where I'd rather be.

Re: Expected Goals (xG)

Only exceeded our xG five times this season, by far the biggest margin today. We've needed to be more clinical all season, today we were.

Re: Kalvin Phillips

Picked up his fifth booking today, suspended for the trip to Huddersfield now.

Looks like Berra will come into defence and White will play defensive midfield in that game after the late subs today.

Sofa Soccer: Does Watching Sport increase Participation?

https://motforum.com/images/th/Sky-Sports-Camera.jpg While the hardcore bracket of sports fans represents quite a small portion of society, it's a fair shout that nearly everybody has watched and enjoyed a sporting fixture or two in their lifetime, whether that's Forest Green Rovers vs. Leyton Orie...

Hes 28! :-D

Was a revalation at the start of this season, mind you he was one of our best players when he was on loan. Can't beleive he is still out, prefer Klich playing in that deeper role to be honest though.

Bielsa asked how he’d changed this season - says he is “less involved” than last year

What does he mean by this?

In the descision making? In transfers? On the training pitch?
