Re: Player Profile : Luke Ayling

Luke Ayling has been immense since the Forest game, almost felt like he single handily turned around our fortunes in some games and since the restart he has been great yet again. Players like Pablo and Costa will rightly take the plaudits for their performances last night but Ayling was a vital cog ...

Exactly, it was reported he had a say in the final signing anyway and could reject a move to ER if he wanted which would revoke any other agreement.

I don't understand how a club can force a player to sign for another club. Never mind Bosman, I'm pretty sure that's slavery.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 6th July) Comfortable win for Pace setters Leeds

The injury in January could have been the result of a heavy tackle or falling awkwardly which he wouldn't necessarily have got playing for Leeds. So to say that he would have missed that many games for Leeds is purely conjecture. Could have been but sounds like another niggly leg injury similar to ...

Re: Victory over Blackburn leaves Leeds United only ten points from promotion

We don't really need to get the 10 points ourselves though. It's a combination of points we get and points other teams drop. Absolutely, Brentford lose one or West Brom a couple and that tally comes down to a much more atainable level. I still think we win two, draw one of the last five we should b...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 6th July) Comfortable win for Pace setters Leeds

Yes should have stuck with Roofe, at least we knew he was fit & an established championship striker Wasn't fit though was he? Missed the end of the season for us and injured until 13th September for Anderlecht, injured again since 12th Jan. Missed 14 games so far this season! What would we have sai...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 6th July) Comfortable win for Pace setters Leeds

Morning! Suggests that Bielsa didn't take to him, rather than it being a fitness issue. Is that all the Roofe money wasted on Nketiah and Augustine then. Pretty much! Issues seems to be that Orta doesn't bring in the right players for Bielsa's system, not that he doesn't bring in good players. Soun...

Re: Kalvin Phillips

Doesn't matter what I think, if Bielsa stays I'm fairly sure Coop will start captain..Especially if we don't retain White. I think the odds of us starting a brand new CB partnership with two new players will be very low. I feel we'll spend big on White and have him partner Coop or get a White repla...

10 points from 5 games is a bit more than only

Two points per game, we've averaged 1.9 so far this season, 1.75 since we've come back.

So yeah, it is a bit more than 'only' but that's the worst case scenario.

Re: Victory over Blackburn leaves Leeds United only ten points from promotion

Very encouraged that some on our bench are stepping up. Douglas was a revelation. Barely used Pablo and didn't use Berardi at all while Costa and Dallas recuperated. This is where our superior conditioning will tell (I hope). Douglas stepping in like that is extremely encouraging. Sounds like Dalla...
