Re: Brenden Aaronson

He is very frantic, needs to slow down and think. He reminds me of a kid playing in the playground, just following the ball.

Re: Leeds Utd v Middlesbrough Match Thread

Fair enough but one thing that I noticed on the highlights was how deep Boro's centre halves were when Piroe came on and I'm putting that down to Joseph pushing them back for the first 70 mins. Also Joseph had one excellent piece of play first half which resulted in Aaronson putting Dan James in on ...

I, as a rule, hate loan players.

Re: Ao Tanaka

I imagine DF will be furious. Tanaka has played the most switches of play. Plays more long passes Creates more chances More crosses Has more expected assists. Than Amps. It's simply not on. And making an attacking run is absolutely ludicrous, extra laps in training I'm sure and lines. All of which ...

andrewjohnsmith wrote: Wed Dec 11, 2024 5:14 pm I don't get that feeling. When he got injured he looked like the best of our 4 wingers. I just think he's the least match fit of the 4.
Only one way to get match fit and if that were the case (best winger, not match fit) then he's first man on at 70 for Gnonto.

andrewjohnsmith wrote: Wed Dec 11, 2024 5:04 pm I think Farke is just taking it slow on Ramazani, not rushing his return unnecessarily. 68 minutes was probably longer tha he wanted to risk him yesterday.
I think Rama is ready and raring to go, he's just well down the pecking order.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 11th December) - Comfortable in the end as Leeds go top

Heard quite a bit of praise for Piroe and Solomon's impact The truth is we just have that luxury of bringing on top quality players to play against tiring defences. It could equally be James, Gnonto, or Ramazani coming off the bench to make a big impact. Hoping we'll now be adding Ampadu to the mix ...

For me it was a very tough call between Tanaka and James. Both were outstanding.

You know, that will be interesting to follow. So far, Mateo appears to breeze International U21s but fails to score in men’s football at sub-Premier level. Piroe is proven at Championship level, has he had an International career? Not sure about Piroe in Internationals, But Joseph is still a kid. ...

He's a really talented kid tbf, he's created more chances than Gnonto in less minutes and has a better goal involvement ratio. Wober did really well. Disagree on Piroe, he's more intelligent than Joseph, tired legs is irrelevant. Disagree with that, I like both tbf. Both are startable but I don't ...

I don't think Doak is better than Joffy. Joffy can play like that if he got game time week in week out
