Re: Home Form

If we only still had Chris Wood he'd have put the chances away this season. Two lovely striker goals for Burnley yesterday, pulled off a defender for a easy header & a lovely close range strike. Wood is always in the six yard box poaching from a decent cross. Wood have ten goals by now with the chan...

Re: Leeds Utd v Derby County Match Thread - WTF happened out there??

Positives Our first-half performance, some lovely football. We battered them. Kalvin Phillips a masterclass once again Ben White so calm & cool at the back, hard to believe he has only played at League 1&2 level Stuart Dallas, where have these performances come from, SD is like a new quality signin...

Re: Leeds Utd v Derby County Match Thread - Forshaw still out, no new injury concerns

Honesty Leon, I’ve not seen a CB in a Leeds shirt with that composure and quality since Radebe, Woodgate, Ferdinand. He’s not at that level yet but I’m sure he will be. Unbelievable to think White has only played at League 1 & 2 level. He reminds me of Ferdinand too in fact I made that comparison a...

Re: Home Form

It's frustrating for sure but Klich despatches the penalty, it's 3 points and we're all happy. MB's substitutions can't be blamed for a missed penalty. Sooner or later some team is going to cop a walloping off us at ER. We're not firing on all cylinders yet and we're top of the league. It's not as ...

Re: Leeds Utd v Derby County Match Thread - Forshaw still out, no new injury concerns

Agree, walked out of ER feeling like we had lost! First half was the usual , dominated, Derby barely got in our half but we wasted chances and opportunities. Second half, what can be said? After 60 minutes we were not at the races. Sat deep, didn’t press, Keogh controlled the game from the back and...

I fancy Ayling at RB and Dallas at LB.
That's the way I'd go Adam.

Fed up of watching two inept wing-backs

But the question raised is still valid. Under what circumstances would you see him coming on ahead of Berardi or Douglas?

A similar scenario with Leif Davis (our best LB) overcoming Alioski & Douglas both are poor defenders

Not gonna happen unfortunately
No chance although I rate Gotts highly

Re: Leeds United v Derby County - 1-1 MOTM

I do think he was outstanding today Phillips Dallas Alio White Shackleton Casilla Whilst Bamford's all round game was OK/good surely his main job (of which he often seems incapable) is put the ball in the net.....which he just doesn't do enough for the number of chances he gets. I doubt he would ha...

We'd never score.

Re: Home Form

The key with the home form is as you say everyone can feel it coming and a such there is 30,000 plus getting jittery and 11 on the pitch , away from home and same situation it is different because there are less fans to get jittery. Teams are always going to get 1 chance, even when a team scores 4,...

Re: MB Issues

Forest score in the 77th minute. Swansea score in the 90th minute. Derby score in the 91st minute. Bristol City score in the 79th minute. So we have conceded 4 goals - and all 4 goals conceded this season came late on in matches after substitutions had been made . The team Bielsa picked to start ma...

Hernandez has been poor in the last 3 games have to agree
We got worse without Pablo in our midfield

Bringing Douglas on for Hernandez was crazy. What was Bielsa thinking ?

In fact we were even poorer after all three substitutions

They are in a bit of a dip so it will be a good time to face them. I turned off onceDerby scored. What was the reaction inside the ground once the final whistle today? Unfortunately lots of boos at the final whistle Our players did receive a generous applause from those in the kop One silly tw*t at...

I feel sorry for our home fans, our players are very lucky to have 33,500 cheering Leeds on.

Oh well back to watching the lads win at Charlton next Saturday :-D
