Re: Current Table/Leeds United 2024/25.

Leeds have scored 68 goals after 33 league matches for the first time since netting 71 in 1969/70 under Don Revie.

Re: Goals from corners....

Our winning goal came from the second phase following a corner but far too often we're risk averse once the initial corner has been cleared with the ball ending up back with Meslier. Yes, Ramazani's awful shot ended up back in the path of Rothwell, who did brilliantly to provide the cross for ...

Re: Leeds v Sunderland Match Thread

Sunderland played well first half yesterday and deserved their first half lead but after the break they struggled to keep possession and rarely made it out of their own half. They were also quite cynical with their fouls and probably slightly fortunate that the yellow cards were spread around ...

Let's hope the current trend continues!

Another ten corners produced nothing against Sunderland, however we did score two headed goals, one from a set-piece.

Very non-Leeds goals.

Re: Are Leeds a big club? - Will Leeds stay up?

I'm always accused of negativity on here, but I'm shocked that some think that we won't stay up and be bottom three if we get promotion. If we do go up I think we'll be OK. The 49ers don't want second best, they will want a very successful football club. I think we would be OK, we just need to get ...

Re: Are Leeds a big club? - Will Leeds stay up?

Big club in terms of fanbase, worldwide appeal and recognition. 7th biggest shirt sales in England show that In 2023. But we aren't a particularly successful club, that will always be a factor when discussing this. We don't really have a leg to stand on in that respect, not even top 10 in the ...

We also have a worldwide fan base, unlike many clubs who are reliant on local fans.
