You certainly are, James.

I'm over the moon I don't have to watch Whispering Jack pretending to be a footballer, delivering feeble crosses into our box.

Re: Facundo Buonanotte - Medical booked

Good to have him onboard for the remainder of the season and if Harrison leaves surely this guy is an upgrade and thus the squad is stronger . Straight up loan is disappointing though, does well for us and will Brighton listen to reasonable offers, we’ve been down this road with them before. A m ...

Six of you had no confidence in our board.

Perri
Bogle/Justin
Gudmundsson
Ampadu
Rodon
Bijol
Struijk
Stach
Aaronson/Tanaka
DCL
Buonanotte/Okafor/Nmecha
Facundo certainly adds more quality to our squad.

Cjay wrote: Thu Jan 15, 2026 12:16 pm True.

Not overly fussed by this.

Straight loan which I don't like of a player who messed us about in the summer.

Meh.
Buonanotte obviously received a better financial offer & the promise of CL football last summer, plus living 50 miles from Brighton probably swung it for him.

Aaronson or Buonanotte I assume.

He was promised a place in their European squad, then Chelsea didn't keep to their agreement.

January Transfer Window? - Poll of the Day (15th Jan)

With the loan moves of Harrison, Gray & Meslier & a distinct possibility of selling one of our championship stars, it suggests new signings are on the way to ER.

Re: January transfers and squad discussion

Italian media say we have asked again about out of favour Croatian attacking midfielder Martin Baturina. We tried to sign him in the summer from Dinamo Zagreb but he turned us down to work for Cesc Fabregas and join the ambitious Como team. However he has found himself behind talented Argentinian ...

A space in our full 25 man squad for a new player.

And the potential someone may buy him off us if he does well?
Fingers crossed, but highly unlikely.
