Re: Arsenal v Leeds Utd Match Thread

Our last victory at the Emirates twenty years ago. Kewell in dynamic form with a wonderful strike for our opening goal. The days when we were always dangerous at set-pieces. Great strike from Viduka. Fortunate with Henry's 20 yards shot hitting the post at 2-2. Fantastic victory under Peter Reid. D...

I'm pleased you're reacting!!!! There's no right or wrong answers, like I said earlier, just opinions). People will make up their own minds whether I'm spouting crap. That's why its a debate. I'm not saying my opinion is any more right than anyone elses. It would be a boring board if we all thought...

Re: Arsenal v Leeds Utd Match Thread

Ahead of tomorrow: 52 teams have played 20 or more league games on April Fool's Day in English league history, and Leeds have the worst win percentage on April 1st of those teams (15% - played 20, won 3).

Those wins:
1967 v Chelsea
1989 v Bournemouth
2008 v Doncaster

The majority of our players/agents will seriously be considering their options if we are relegated.

Our board will also make decisions which players they wish to retain & who should move on, looking at the situation from a financial aspect.

Yes, it would be very strange if our third coach believes Ayling is our best CB option, especially as we have two natural CB's, one of them our captain.

Re: Arsenal v Leeds Utd Match Thread

We don't know that. Depends who replaces him. Gracia is getting the defence well marshalled, if Coop comes in we're getting a good back up who plays well out of defence. I'd worry more if it's Ayling and Koch moved left Cooper for me, never happy with Ayling as a CB, it's unnecessarily changing two...

I'm hoping the Wober/Koch combination remains next season, as they have developed a solid partnership. Charlie & Leo may return as back-up, as I feel the likes of Llorente & Coops days at Leeds are numbered.

That’s his level, Leon. People keep saying there’s a player in there but I’ve heard that before. Tyler Roberts for instance We have several players out on loan, whom we may have to call on should our season end up in a total disaster. I'm unconvinced any of them will play for Leeds again, should we...

Re: Javi Gracia pre Arsenal

As an example of how difficult it is to shift a team's form, even by changing managers, this was the Prem table after 9/10 games. Only Aston Villa have dragged themselves clear of the bottom nine, while Bournemouth took their place. Leeds United's season was already clear at that stage. Screenshot 2...

Arsenal have quality all over the park, their position at the top of the PL certainly doesn't flatter them.

I’d say Harrison is a more talented player but I’d like to be proved wrong. Just don’t see it with Dan. Speed yes. Football brain not sure Like Traore at Wolves, he has pace with no end product & spends more time on the bench at his clubs apart from Leeds, with Marcelo attempting to mould James...

Harrison a way better player than James on all known form and I don’t expect that to change Agree Jay  Among all Premier League players in 2023, only Bruno Fernandes has more assists in all competitions than Jack Harrison (5 in 10 games) Meanwhile, Dan James is sat on the bench at Fulham, his ...
