Re: Our Football Competitions....

I do them all for the craic, couldn’t care if I win or lose. The only one I don’t do is the FPL one as I’ve never been involved with the whole fantasy football concept. Fwiw, Predict 6 is my favourite, but I’m equally keek at them all. Thanks to all who devote their time to facilitate lazy beggars li ...

Not as exciting as it sounds Kev, The Europa Hotel in Belfast is reportedly the most bombed hotel in the world. Was attacked over 30 times during ‘ the troubles ‘ 😮 Pint of Vitamin G in the Crown, game of pool in Robinsons. Hard to beat. :) I spent the day fly fishing, bit of fresh air after the flu ...

It seems Farke thinks so too Leon, but I can’t get away from the idea that he’s the one striker we have who can score goals from very meagre opportunities.

I’ve gone for a striker, as we’ve seen, any problem for DCL or Nmecha and we’re light up front.

Prior to last week I’d have opted for a 10.

Re: 2026 FIFA World Cup Draw 🇺🇸 🇲🇽 🇨🇦 - thoughts/does it make you want to go?

Just read a reliable Scottish news outlet report that busking pipers and street entertainers singing Flower of Scotland will be deported and face a 16k fine in the US for breaking immigration work rules. Any comment I could make would be defamatory, so I’ll leave it at that. Check this out. https:/ ...

Re: Brentford pre match chat

Okafor is not a Striker. He's a winger. And he really doesn't understand the role. Nmecha and DCL are true Strikers that DO understand the role. Both can play with there back to goal and hold up play. They understand how to work off each other. So adjustments will need to be made against Brentford ...

Re: Leeds United V Liverpool Match Thread

The guy was under immense pressure. Don't think anyone would deny this week could easily have seen him sacked. Fair play in the end he reacted and got enough in the end to keep his job. I would imagine most "moaning Minnie's" just wanted some sign of flexibility, an ability to change a game, to ...

Stach and Tanaka give us a level of potential creativity that other options don't.

Amps is a given.

Tanaka will be sold for a lot of money in the summer, we won't be able to hold on to him.

Re: Leeds United V Liverpool Match Thread

Remember how the moaning minny's got out the sackcloth and ashes at the thought of being thumped by City, Chelsea, and Liverpool. The self flagellation with a lead tipped whip that would put a Jesuit priest to shame. It didn't happen, and all that self mortification was for nought. Rubbing hands in ...

I note that Bournemouth have done worse than Leeds over the past 6 games, despite having only faced Villa & City from the big 6.

5.30 kick-offs are a bad idea. Even if you don't have a beer till half time, you're half cut by 8.30.

According to a friend. 8-)
