Tend to agree. We cant keep hoping that Burnley and Newcastle will keep playing poorly and we'll draw our way out of safety

Re: Manchester United v Leeds United Match Thread - Dallas at left back, Koch in for Phillips
Very worrying for the goal difference to take such a battering early on, very important now to get a result against Everton.

Re: Big six proposal
Just when I thought football couldn't get much worse with the ruination of the expanded Euros and World Cups and this BS third European club competition (Conference League). Thankfully the majority of fans and pundits thinks this is a kamikaze move and you would hope the clubs outside the big six in...

Re: Which Premier League manager will be the first to face the chop this season?
Has to be Scott Parker, with Fulham looking to bring in someone like Allardyce or Pulis to "guarantee" their safety

Re: Leeds Utd v Man City - MATCH THREAD
Brilliant performance and a well deserved point, as opposed to other Prem teams parking the bus against City or accepting defeat before a ball is kicked (looking at you Burnley). Europe is more difficult to get know, as England only has one Europa League place from next season onwards, so hopefully ...

Re: Last Man Standing 2020/2021
Right, I won't be participating in one of these again till that handball nonsense gets sorted.
Thankfully, Leeds haven't fallen foul of it yet (I can tolerate any other kind of wrong/dodgy decision like tackles, offsides or cards but this handball nonsense is beyond wrong)

Gonna go Spurs and think they will finish top 3 now if Kane and Son continue in good form and Bale works out

Re: Last Man Standing 2020/2021
Gonna go Leeds this week. This is the type of game the team needs to win if they want to avoid a relegation scrap and being bottom 6 all season, plus they seem to have more fitness in the tank than Fulham and will obviously be a lot more confident of getting a win

Palace.
Whenever I do LMS, I like to get weaker teams out of the way early and save the bigger teams for when there's a weekend with few obvious winners

Re: Rodrigo
Not too excited about this signing on the face of it. There were lots of other La Liga strikers outside the top 5 clubs, I would have liked the club to try and sign. But, I guess the jury's out and I can only hope Rodrigo proves me wrong

Re: Edinson Cavani
Definitely wouldn't say no to him on low wages, but I don't think he'll be like Cambiasso at Leicester when he took a substantial financial hit to play for them, especially with Cavani getting used to all that oil money in the last few years

Re: 16 Years - The Good & Bad
The best is recovering from a slump in form around the start of this year to once again build a big gap on Fulham and Brentford, the team could have easily collapsed at that point and even finished outside the top 6 The worst was appointing Hockaday (no offence) as it really made you question the sh...

James Milner would definitely be a great squad addition, although it would be doubtful if he could play 30+ league matches and within whatever number he would reach, play 90 minutes

Re: Today's Games
Wonder if West Brom will have a trophy celebration after finishing 2nd (they'll definitely beat QPR), as Cardiff had one last year for finishing 2nd?
I would hope the club is big enough to not gain any satisfaction from lifting a runners-up trophy, as that kind of thing is ridiculous

Re: Oh Bielsa!
Hope the board are smart enough to stick with him if we get off to a bad start and not panic immediately about relegation. Should we stay up, I imagine it will be hard for the club to keep Bielsa for a second Prem season with other offers likely to come his way. Also be interesting if Marcelo finall...

Cheers Butters,
One of my biggest wishes for next season above most other things is to avoid playing City home or away on the final day

No more Keith Andrews No more Don Goodman No more Colin W+nker No more every team's biggest game 😍😍 No more Prutton and Beckford (hopefully). Sorry, both though these players were at least decent for us (and obviously Beckford was a lot more than decent!), I can't stand them as pundits/presenters. ...

Former poster on here from 2011-2013 (I use the same password for every website!) and I'm delighted the club is finally back. I'm especially delighted for the fans who attended games regularly during the last few years pre Bielsa when it looked like the club was closer to another relegation than a p...
