Re: Saudi Arabia
Maybe people just expect this sort of thing now . Can we assume another winter time world cup then . I think also the 2030 one is Spain , Portugal and Morocco.....but also Uruguay and Argentina hosting some matches . Might have been an idea as the 100 year anniversary to have it again in Uruguay as ...

Re: Boxing chat
There was something I saw today about the two Paul's fighting two Fury's .......one of course Tommy but couldn't make out whether the other is Tyson or his dad.......yet another clown show really , it's one you hope they all lose. It could be Tyson hoping to do as he did with Ngannou , or hoping not ...

Re: Boxing chat
John Fury is beyond embarrassing. No ......he is even worse than that , I don't think there are words that can actually sum him up . I saw a press conference, don't know when or where , or it might be a weigh in ....but John Fury starts going off into one on someone...and in the background his ...

Re: Premier League Thread
Has anyone noticed the similarity between Kieran McKenna and the boy that plays banjo in the duelling banjo bit in Burt Reynolds film Deliverance ? Funny he manages in Suffolk too .........

Re: Do We Concede More Than We should?
Which suggests we don't create enough chances Used to create chances for fun under Bielsa .......a very high amount per game if I remember rightly , which after Gary Monk era was wonderful as that wasn't exactly entertaining, the only problem with the Bielsa thing was .....Bamford was up front and ...

on the bench at Everton, loan wages clocking up............If its a business decision its see you later if its a hope all things get better and we'll pay.... What do they get in return... Goals ? Assists and at a consistent level? If it was your money would you take a risk? I think Leeds have ...

Keeper seems to be overlooked, current one I have no confidence in , daresay the defenders in front don't either . Always fear there are a few mistakes waiting to happen unfortunately. That and a reliable striker .

So....... Not keen on them then? :) :) :) :) Indeed not ! Had a friend who was an Ipscum supporter years ago , switched to Manure when they started winning , then got bored and became a Colchester Utd supporter...not sure at present which one of the 3 he is as haven't seen fir about 15 years ...

Re: Premier League Thread
Tbf from what Ipswich fans said the fan was mouthing off. Not sure I'd fancy a smack from Keane, know people like to think he's all mouth but doubt it. Was apparently a decent boxer as a kid but c Picked footie Ipscum have a lot of mouthy gobshites unfortunately, I know a fair few and they are just ...

Re: Who is the best manager in the championship?
That's an incredibly low bar tbf ... Yes I know , but the team had pretty much forgotten how to win , Allardyce managed none , did Gracia manage one ? I forget now as he was forgettable , Mars he was just plain inept and awful......but Farke had to turn that mentality around . He probably has one ...

Re: Who is the best manager in the championship?
Given resources I think Corberen , Farke has done better than anyone since Bielsa but I don't think he is the man to lead a PL team , trouble is if he gets Leeds up he is going to get the chance but I just don't think he has the savvy and tactics for top level . Pretty much applies to the whole of ...

Re: Boxing chat
I didn't stay up either but watched it after. Unfortunately as expected. Few moments where Tyson sparked into life but he was too old. Respect for doing it. One thing for sure is it wouldn't take knocking that many years off for Tyson to beat him. As Roy Jones Jr said Tyson had lost a significant ...

1855988870854361377 George Foreman ? Larry Holmes ? Joe Bugner ? Mind you they might be too young . Had no interest in this , farcical fight really , a 58 yr old man who has injury problems these days . In his day Tyson was a beast , I think his speed and mobility would create havoc for today's ...
