Re: Super League 2021

Being a fan of both your clubs “noisy neighbours” a win for either “big city” club will mean a dismal start to my weekend. The only ray of sunshine I can get out of this game is that one of you will be mired further into relegation worries. That said, the news that Tom Johnstone is needing speciali...

Re: Chelsea Thread

Mr Tuchel will be unaware in 1972 Leeds were forced to play an important league league match at Molineux (needing a point to clinch the League Title) two days after winning a FA Cup Final at Wembley. After a sapping game on a muddy Wembley pitch v Chelsea in 1970, Leeds played the 2nd leg of the Eu...

Re: Rowntree's fruit pastels

Hadn't noticed the change to fruit pastels, but I tend to buy wine pastels out of preference these days. I mourn the shrinkage and virtual disappearance of refreshers. I stockpile them whenever I find a shop that has them. Do you know anyone who goes to Makro or another wholesaler....your local pub...

Re: Rowntree's fruit pastels

They wouldn't sell enough of the Vegan ones to warrant setting up a second factory or manufacturing area to make it worth their while .. From reading the complaints from folk regarding changing the original to vegan, it'll only be vegans buying them, so I reckon sales will slump anyway. That happen...

SaraM wrote: Fri May 14, 2021 4:57 pm I still like the Cup final, for nostalgia reasons. Can't see past a Chelsea win, unfortunately; although the upside to that is that there may be an element of rubbing Lampard's face in his failure once again.
I like the way you make it a win win situation :)

Rowntree's fruit pastels

One of my fave sweets as a kid, and as an adult. But Rowntree have taken the gelatin out of the recipe to suit vegans, so now they are all soft and gooey and stick to ones teeth. Has anyone else suffered a fave product ruined due to companies changing tried and tested recipes to suit vegans. I have ...
