Re: Wendies or Derby Who is going down??

I think Wendies and Rotherham will go. Derby are crap but I think they'll at least scrape a draw at home to the Pigs and I can't see Rotherham getting a win at Cardiff when they can't buy one at the moment. Wouldn't want anyone from any of their squads. Can't think of one player who would improve us...

Re: Labour smashed by the Tories in Hartlepool.....

I know they have lost strongholds in northern areas but I was really surprised with the loss of Hartlepool seat hence my topic on the matter. Brexit is probably the main reason for the substantial tory gains. Personally I'm glad to be out of Europe being dictated by Brussels, I doubt half the natio...

Re: Labour smashed by the Tories in Hartlepool.....

They're done unfortunately, they'll go down in history as a 50 yr blip. First in 1923 last true labour Government ended in 79 ..Blair had to basically become Tory to win an election. Brown I guess but he got in by default as Callahan did even if he was successful as a PM Baldwin Atlee Wilson True l...

Re: Labour smashed by the Tories in Hartlepool.....

Absolute madness putting arch-remainer Williams up as a candidate in one of the most overwhelmingly Brexit seats in the Country. What were Labour thinking? It’s as if they were goading the people of Hartlepool or had actually given up even trying to keep that seat. Without any serious opposition we...

Re: Labour smashed by the Tories in Hartlepool.....

Labour are absolutely f***ed and will be for years to come, in my opinion. They've lost their strongholds in Scotland to the SNP and Brexit (although not Brexit alone) has seen a huge shift away from Labour in areas of the North that would never possibly have considered voting for the Tories even 10...

It's a tight call, as they're both 10/10 albums in my book but I may even slightly prefer Laughing Stock to Spirit Of Eden. As I say, tight call though..........

Spiderland will certainly get points from me. An absolute classic and hugely influential.

I keep meaning to watch the Breadcrumb Trail documentary which is on Amazon Prime currently as well.

Re: Album of 1971 - BB & Durly to VOTE

In yet another very close poll 'Hunky Dory' takes the lead for the first time in the poll. Three of my all-time favourite artists battle it out at the top with one vote to come. This is one of those polls where, on a different day, I might have voted differently. There were quite a few albums that ...
