Re: Lewis Bate

Will be very interesting to see how our U23s overhaul will compete with the PL2 1st division. Sounds like there's a good chance the Celtic CB youngin' (Hjelde) is a good possibility as well. Bring on the youth!

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 23rd July) Deal close for Norwegian shot stopper

I look forward to Klaesson fumbling the losing goal into the net vs Hereford in the FA Cup. In all seriousness, he's young so will make mistakes and coming in simply as backup and to push Meslier. An 'old head' back up would be great for tutoring, but would have no drive to work hard and test Meslie...

We lost him to W Brom last season over guaranteed playing time and I imagine we will again this season.

It will be appealed and we'll pay something less in arbitration. It was an interesting case to push through legal channels to see how it was handled in a court settings for all parties involved, as well as future contract writing.

Just an agent trying to get a move for his player. I sincerely doubt we're interested or that this has legs at all.

Chinese owners cutting back on funding and selling the assets. Isn't there a change in the Chinese government policies, forcing companies/citzens to cut back foreign investments? Saw something a while back on that. Talk was any club with significant Chinese investment could have some money issues v...

Nah, a s**t news source mentioned they may be. Dortmund never pays amounts like it will take to even make us pay attention to them. No fear of that transfer at all. At least not until they (maybe) sell Haaland.

Re: Name the famous sports stadium/ground

Google Earth is a wonderful thing Bobcat. I’ll confess I had no idea but had a quick look for a stadium by a bridge, crossing the Delaware, given you said it was ‘local’ and bingo there it was :) Yeah, the quotes around local are because it's a 2hr drive for me each way. Same distance to DCs new st...

Re: Summer 2021 squad and transfer discussion.

New link today coming out of Germany again. From a fairly reputable souce German source, Bild. Hertha BSC forward, Brazilian star Matheus Cunha. A Brazilian Youth International star with 16 goals in 13 games for the Brazilian u23s. Was top scorer at the 2019 Toulon Tournament which Brazil won. Can ...

Don't want Brentford, their manager triggers my snarling and spitting gene. Barnsley would be the pick of the litter.

Dallas vs Citeh
Meslier

Some cracking goals to choose from this season. And players. And young players.

Positive: Casilla looked like a more-than capable keeper (God forbid)

Negative: I had the stream running during Zoom meetings so couldn't celebrate either goal! (or Rapha's unfortunate fail)

Howdy folks. Been gone for quite some time, thought I'd check out the place again. Miss me? :-D Been lucky in the States as our last several seasons we could see Leeds quite a bit in the Championship and this new-fangled journey into the Premier League. Used to post a lot back in the days of pirated...

Re: Booing at the end of the Barnsley match

Defending was woeful. Schmeichel wasn't ready for the tying goal from the free-kick. And, other than Gradel, no one really looked that bothered to be there last evening. It's a match we should have won, actually won, then pissed away.

Entertaining match to be sure, but disappointing.
