Re: Middlesbrough v Leeds Utd Match Thread - Berardi in for Phillips, Kiko Starts, No JKA!

meh, even the shot that clipped the bar was poor. They did get gifted a FK on the edge but they were no threat at all in the end. I watched all their runners go ignored as their players sat on the ball too long and were way to selfish at times ..4 times I saw a Boro player make a dangerous run and ...

Re: Middlesbrough v Leeds Utd Match Thread - Berardi in for Phillips, Kiko Starts, No JKA!

Another well fought win but we'll start getting caught out like we did last season if we continue not to take our chances... Costa and bamford in particular have been very very wasteful. Not sure bamford even really believes he's going to get on the end of a cross and score anymore.

Re: Middlesbrough v Leeds Utd Match Thread - Berardi in for Phillips, Kiko Starts, No JKA!

0-1 Final score, Middlesborough could have played all night and not scored, Very very poor team today and no threat at all to our defence. Rating based on second half 20 min of first half and the goal Casilla 8 - That was a good save off Aylings foot Ayling - 7 - Dallas - 8 - A little wasteful up f...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 26th February) Should duo play through the pain barrier?

Drop Kiko. Kalvin will want to play this one and sometimes playing through an injury can help (especially as it doesn't seem as serious). If he still feels it after tonight then drop him for the home game on Saturday where he will be less relied upon. Drop Bamford and give JKA a 90 minute game wher...

Re: Stuart Dallas

It was the trenches line, of the two I'd rather have Alio in the trenches battling when the chips are down. Dallas less likely to turn a game. I'm ok with either at LWB tbh, for me they're both good there as as a wing back you need to be creative and Dallas isn't that creative, I also think Alio/Ha...

looked decent yesterday, needs to add end product to his game though - 1 goal and 1 assist in the last 14 games is a really poor record (same issue with costa)

Re: Leeds Utd v Reading Match Thread

The concept that there is a cabal of FA /EFL/ Sky tv/ BBC executives who have an anti Leeds agenda isn’t something I buy into. Leeds are perfectly capable of making trouble for themselves without outside help. If he is guilty they will sanction him not because of who he plays for but for what he ha...

1230165646815768577 We love to hoover up random teens from clubs. How we should have tried so much harder to get this one before he became the hottest talent in football :verysad: 12 months before he became really famous scoring 9 goals in a game we were in Molde trying to sign Cibicki, did we have...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 20th February) - D-Day for Kiko Casilla

Not sure there's an excuse for LUFC or Kiko in saying Kiko may have been distracted last few weeks. Perfectly simple cure either way JK won't be able to hit the ground at all till he starts and that ain't looking likely..10-15 minutes off the bench is doing him no favours I agree re Kiko. In my opi...

Bamford is not to blame for the lack of goals. Ten men in the box defending is the reason it is difficult to score. You need a pinball wizard to score in those circumstances. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200219/ec47eb93e29b2d6843a008d15e2ee101.jpg Sent from my SM-G903F using Tapatalk while I ...

Re: Leeds Utd v Bristol City Match Thread - Unchanged Starting XI, Roberts returns to the bench

only watched the second half but WHAT a performance

However, how have we not scored a second there?! Bamford and Costa both missing sitters...going to make for a hard end to the season but a crucial crucial win!

Quite possibly the most Leeds performance ever...

Re: Other fans forum opinions

As nice it may be to hear /read, we're getting to the part of the season where performances count for nothing and results count for everything. I'm sure almost everyone would prefer us to play poorly and win than play well and not win. As good as it looks, these good performances aren't being conver...

Re: Leeds Utd v Bristol City Match Thread

I'd imagine it will be the same squad as against Brentford (though Meslier should be in goal, which won't happen). Pre-game chat is almost pointless when Bielsa names the same team every week.

amazing to think he was frozen out early on in his Leeds career - pretty sure someone said Bielsa had him in the "likely to leave"pile when he first joined

Re: How do we solve a problem like . .

Well you kinda have to like something about the team, so which players do you rate outside of Kalvin? Manager doing a good job? Orta doing good work scouting? Rads a decent owner with room to grow? Trying to recall a positive post but struggling right now tbh... Well I mean it's an online football ...

Re: How do we solve a problem like . .

You must really hate LUFC ..who do you really support ? Didn't realise being realistic meant I have to hate Leeds! The ridiculous hype (or criticism) some of our players get just annoys me. I reckon I could name up to 10 better wingers in the championship (obviously down to opinion though). I reall...

get him down the gym .

too lightweight and gets pushed of the ball far to easily for me.

apart from the odd glimpses he's been a disappointment so far.
my dad's a Wolves season ticket holder and said this about him when we bought him
