Re: Blackburn Rovers v Leeds Utd Match Thread
I think we’ve benefitted tremendously with Brendan in the lineup. He’s kind of our Energizer Bunny. He just looks tired by his standard. No battery life left with that bunny… interesting, i think he offers nothing! he's not fast, not particularly skilful, not strong and not a particularly good passe ...

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Leeds Utd Match Thread
It was a suspicion I had at the beginning of the match, but this first half confirmed things. Think Farke got the lineup entirely wrong today. Don’t understand why Solomon was taken off in favor of James. Aaronson has been overdue for a sit (could’ve played Solomon or Willy here) And Piroe was alw ...

Re: Jack Harrison
I would have Aaronson over Harrison any day. He is playing so much better AND he came back when he wanted rather than Harrison who has said her prefers Everton to us. If Everton send him back we need to sell him on asap aaronson came back because union berlin didn't want him and noone else wanted ...

Tanaka at fault for the foul and then for losing his man at the free kick. Poor.

Re: Gary Lineker is Going !!! Who is the M.O.T,D Replacement???
This is marvellous news. I absolutely loathe him. I really wish MOTD would go back to the style it had in the 90's, where they just showed the match highlights and there were no pundits giving their analysis afterwards. you can usually watch the highlights pretty easily online somewhere - the only ...

Re: Mateo Joseph
Joseph ran around a lot which will make some of our fans happy. He also missed a great chance which fortunately for him kindly bounced to Bogle. Was almost completely uninvolved in open play build up with only 8 passes. He was the most dispossessed player on the pitch and lost 10 of 13 duels as the ...

Re: Joel Piroe
had an excellent game yesterday
clearly our best striker at the moment (as I said beforehand!), can't really understand why some people were calling for joseph to replace him
also curled a beauty against the post early in the first half - would have been a beautiful goal

Re: Who starts as the 9
not even a debate in my eyes - we have one striker averaging a goal every 120 mins and him starting has coincided with our upturn in form compared with one averaging a goal every 360 mins. Most of Piroe's starts have also come against teams at the top of the table. Let Joseph get used to the league ...

Re: Mateo Joseph
There was one decent cross into the box with no one there to even get a touch on it, I have no idea where Piroe was, probably drifted deep into his No.10 role. Joseph has to start vs Plymouth. My stats I posted up earlier on Joel's thread, tells us Piroe is more effective off the bench. plz ...

Re: Mateo Joseph
This was my take at the time of the substitution. Piroe just doesn’t move enough as a starter, but has demonstrated that he’s extremely effective as a super sub (most of his goals have come in that role). Think the writing is on the wall in terms of what needs to be done. Will Farke make the change? ...

Re: Joel Piroe
Can DF get Piroe playing and scoring as he did for 1 season at Swansea OR was that season just a bimp. I would play Piroe as a 10 behind Joseph and if it does not gel then he needs to be sold as soon as we get a better replacement in Bamford also needs to be sold as soon as a replacement is brought ...
