Re: Fav Ever England Manager

Venables rode the wave of Euro 96 and it was such a shame we didn’t win it and got to say it was one of my all time favourite tournaments. But for me it has to be Hoddle just a massive shame he didn’t stay long enough, I felt the team was playing some great football plus I feel would have gone on an...

Leeds are creating (or were) many more chances for bamford than they were for wood. so all things being equal bamford should be scoring more goals than wood ever got

Re: Is Patrick Bamford As Bad As People Say? - A Deep Dive

The answer is yes ........... he has all the qualities to be a top striker, though I feel he’s not very quick. On his day (when he can be arsed) he can be a very good championship striker but he definitely isn’t a top striker which Leeds need and deserve. All those that say he doesn’t score lots of ...

Re: What are you doing today ?

Took the dog for a 2.5 mile run through the woods, trying to get fitter and loose a bit of weight during the isolation. Cut the back lawn for the first time this year, took the dogs for a walk with the wife, had dinner and now watching films

Quite a nice relaxing day really

Re: If the season is abandoned

The EFL will employ the fairest, unbiased and greatest minds of our generation (Shaun Harvey, Keith Andrews and Don Goodman) combined with the latest Super Computer (Spectrum 64) to work out how the league really would have finished, I’ll leave you all to speculate where we might finish :duno:

Re: Time to Act?

Hi Peter I feel people should do what they feel is right for them, I certainly will not be locking myself away , panic buying or staying away from people but I’m sure others will/are doing just that. The wife and I went shopping earlier today on the downside people were panic buying, on the upside I...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 9th March) Leeds have a 97% chance of Promotion!

Absobloodylutely it would guarantee promotion. lets make no bones about this, its s**t or bust time. if we finish 10 points behind wba and only stay second by 1 goal, who really cares? its all about finishing in the top 2, sure it would be great to finish champs by 10 points, the icing on the cake,...

I think he’s been superb the last two games and so deserves a goal, hope once he does score one then he has a run of scoring, definitely need to keep him when we are playing at other grounds next season :shhh:

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 6th March) Roberts benched in favour of Bamford

Morning EB et all I think it was expected by most that Lord Bamford would start, perhaps its our fault that our Manager thinks that Bamford is part of the Royal family so must always start if fit :duno: Big Kev can’t complain he’s injured so no way he’s even getting on the bench. Little Ian haven’t ...
