Re: Leeds v Leicester Match Thread

Leicester had to play Wes Morgan and Christian Fuchs in a back 3 in Greece.

If thats the case vs us that is a huge advantage, Rodders, Costa, Harrison and Bamford all have the pace over those 2.

Left hand side of Leicester may be the key if that is the case.

Re: Leeds v Leicester Match Thread

Brendan Rodgers is a self confessed Bielsa disciple whose style and tactics have been influenced by the boss. Had a read of the Leicester forum they seem to believe they can out football us. They struggled vs Villa who we battered and the stats suggest that was more of a football match then attack v...

Bielsa pre Leicester press conference

Taken from Leeds-Live. Injury news - Cooper and Llorente Cooper is fine now, but Llorente won’t be fit for this weekend. [Time scale?] Subject to the evolution of the injury. [Time scale Phillips?] Again it’s subject to the evolution of the injury. How helpful to have more time between games after V...

Re: Today's Games

Jamie Vardy starts for Leicester tonight.

Will be interesting to see if his fitness holds up.

Ideally not, a little tweak that keeps him out against us would be great (not a major injury of course just enough to make them think he meeds more time )

Re: I Wondered when....

Made my feelings on the 49ers clear. Reinforced by what the other American owners in the EPL have tried to do. Pay them off and get them out is my view, dont let them get their claws in to our club or this league any deeper. The front man is a numbers man thats what he does, he is running the ventur...

Re: Seem's a bit dodgy to me...

Everything about this screams asset strippers.

Charlton fans hate Chris Farnell.

Isnt much information about the supposed wealthy backer either.

Doesnt sound good for Burnley.

Hopeit falls through.

Re: Championship 2020/2021

Sheffield Wednesday are only a couple of points closer to safety than they were 8 games ago.

Hopefully karma is going to bite them finally.

Glad to see Wycombe look likely to go straight down, voting to void the season because it meant they got playoffs.

Re: Cheer Up Frank Lampard

Well said CJ, I think Lumpard lay's awake all night looking at his picture of Bielsa on his ceiling and saying "why don't I get the same respect"... He is without doubt the biggest most selfish whining tw*t in football... You can tell he is used to being gifted things. His Uncle gave h...

1321174163739037696 Its a hard life Frank  Took Derby backwards but the press talked him up. Took Chelsea backwards but the press talked him up. Uncle Harry got him job interviews and talked him up whenever he could to his mates in the media. Yet he complains still  He is managing £100,0...

Re: Premiership 2020/21

Ben White may be a cautionary tale for us.

We have seen it with KP, seen it with Coops, seeing it with White.

Taken out of Bielsa's well drilled system and individuals struggle.

I do worry about some of our lot after MB goes (in a few years).

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 27th October) Can Bamford keep it going?

Gabby is a figure of disdain for Villa fans so is an odd choice for Sky to give the title of Villa mouthpiece to.

Paddy has always been technically gifted but very inconsistent. His last 2 goals vs Villa were top draw but its a bit early to be talking about international call ups.

Re: No reason to fear anyone

You're right we have no reason to fear anyone, but watching all the games my son and I both agreed that we may struggle against Newcastle, Burnley and Palace with their packed defences. Hopefully, they do not have as much quality as Wolves. This  Leicester are every bit as good as Wolves at th...

Re: Premiership 2020/21

WBA and Brighton have only managed 3 shots between them in half hour.

Another thriller clearly.

Is it just me or are the majority of Premier league teams dull to watch?

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 26th October) Leeds reach top five

I hope for top 6 and would be happy with top 10 but i wouldn't consider 11th and below a successful season. I dont think a below top 10 finish should ever be considered successful, its such a negative mindset so i aim high. Its such an unpredictable season with the lack of crowds anything can happen...

Re: Diving f****r Grealish

One thing that stood out for me is its basically the Jack Grealish show (plus 10 others). That imo is how he thinks. Clearly talented and what not but i actually think he stays at Villa more for himself, Mr Villa, the Captain in his little goldfish bowl. He is selfish, he doesn't always do whats bes...

Re: Today's Games

Watched Manure and Chelsea was genuinely afraid of falling into a coma.

Awful game.

So much money spent on both teams and couldn't muster a goal between them.

All this talk of the big 6, if Chelsea and Manure don't finish top 6 i wouldn't be at all surprised.

Two teams of individuals.

He would fit in the cm of any side in the league, any style of play and any role. He is fantastic (and has received praise on various forums including Liverpool and Man City). For ages our most underrated player outside of our own fanbase but people are starting to realise how good he is. He scores ...
