Pick your striker/formation

With Nmecha out.

Would people either stick with 2 up top (if so pick one of the strikers)

Will assume Calvert-Lewin starts regardless of formation.

So either select an additional striker or select the formation change for Brentford with DCL up top in a 4-3-3

I don't do any I don't think.

Largely because I just forget.

Partially because embarrassing myself every season in fantasy football is enough humiliation 😁

But generally yeah, just forget.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 12th December) Three weeks until the January transfer market opens

Definitely he has been financially backed. The concern would be over whether they perhaps bought in players that weren't as high a priority just because they were available. Would Farke have preferred us spending say £30m on a striker/10 rather then say £15m each on 2 players such as a defender and ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 12th December) Three weeks until the January transfer market opens

Of the 8 players named only 3 were signed while Farke was Manager and 2 of those named were sold before the Promotion season . Interestingly players like Ampadu, Gruev , Tanaka who did contribute to Promotion and were bought for relatively modest fees were not mentioned . I agree with the point ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 12th December) Three weeks until the January transfer market opens

I think you can criticise the owners for many things, things they could have done differently or better. Risking our first Premier League season recruitment on total novices for example. But I don't think the not backing Farke thing is fair. PSR is a 3 year cycle. He had 2 seasons with 2 of the ...

Farke on belief "We were convinced before, during and after the week. " On conversations with the owners "No conversations." Re: Daniel Farke or Keith Andrews? - Poll of the Day (12th Dec)

Went Farke for the reason mentioned by others.

Andrews hasn't even been a manager for 6 months.

Tbf to him he's done better than many expected, Brentford lost probably 4 best players in the summer so he's done a decent job.

Re: What is the priority positional signing we require in the January window? - Poll of the Day (11th Dec)

We need another No.9, the two we currently have, leaves us vulnerable if we continue to play two upfront. Okafor or Piroe are not answer, when one of them are unavailable. DCL & Nmecha are decent, eight goals so far. We could be looking at twenty goals by the end of the season from the pair, at ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 9th December) The seven days that have re-shaped Farke's Leeds United career

Thing is though that in the majority of matches played under Farke we will have been winning or drawing at half time so there would have been no need to make a change. If you feel your starting XI is your strongest then making a change at half time is surely just saying you got it really wrong. You ...

Be interesting to see what DF does.

He's usually really cautious away from home, sit back, don't press etc.

It wouldn't be a massive shock if he went with Gruev

The change to 532 with Bijol at the back and DCL up front was not the ONLY option. It was an option. https://c76c7bbc41.mjedge.net/wp-content/uploads/tc/2015/10/5377715421_cf4ca48a82_o1.jpg That's better. Nice of you to give a little evolution lesson as well from apes to you. Thank you.

Are you are doing the Cjay method of doubling down, or should that be dumbing down by repeating a falsehood in the hope if you say it often enough people will believe you. Aaronsen's most effective position may not be right wing but he had been the starting right winger for most of the season. As ...

Liverpool 1-0 Inter Milan in the final moments now. Championship wise another blip for Frank Lampard 1-1 draw with Hecky and Preston who had 10 men for the entire 2nd half.
