Ramazani and Solomon play the same position. Aaronson for Gruev seems the way to go
He isn't changing the midfield.

He had a big long answer about it today.

He has absolutely no intention of dropping the 2 holding midfielders.

Re: General Chat

First R.Kelly got sent down for disgusting things and will spend the rest of his life in prison. Now Sean Combs (better known as P Diddy) is accused of equally disgusting things and is likely (if convicted) to spend his life in prison. These two men were two of the most influential and wealthy men i...

Re: How many games before we change manager

It’s interesting that fans are inherently risk averse. Or at least thats what you are suggesting. Yet the biggest success in recent times was achieved with a very big risk. Thats why the Moyes, Dyche & Big Sam style appointments leave me bored witless. Lazy appointments. And Big Sam may have a ...

How come he didn’t get lured in to the PL.
No idea maybe he's happy where he is?

Turned down Ajax.

Was on the final 2 with De Zerbi for Brighton.

Clearly got something about him but maybe he just doesn't fancy another job.

And yet when Marsch used xG to defend himself (again technically spot on) he was mocked.

Re: Cardiff pre match chat

Not good news on the injury front and DF is mentioning xG a lot which presumably will see him mocked like Jesse Marsch.

Rodon
Solomon
Rothwell
Firpo
Bamford (because he is a constant doubt)
Wober

James definitely out

All doubts then.

Re: Cardiff pre match chat

Farke's here - Injuries? OVerall, we had a few knocks and hits during this week. Rodon missed two sessions due to some hip problems or glute problems. Firpo struggling with MCL. Manor Solomon with some back problems. Rothwell rolled his ankle. A few concerns, but I am carefully optimistic all of th...

Honeymoon period over for Ange Postenoclue as he's been nicknamed by Spuds fans.

His stubbornness and boring style starting to grate as are his excuses and arrogance by bigging up his past to validate his present.

Scraped by Coventry I'm the cup tonight.

Sean Dyche replacing his only striker Beto mid second half to bring on a near 40 year old Ashley Young and for Ashley Young to miss the deciding penalty is the most Sean Dyche thing ever

Not been a great start in a supposed weaker division where 7 of our 8 of our points have come vs teams currently 20th and below.

Needs to improve and improve quickly.

And it was a pen.

Re: The mystery of the Low Block

Gruev is only playing that holding role until we exert some dominance in the game. Then he ventures forward more, the issue for me, is that he is no more effective at playing box to box than Kamara. It has to be Aaronson with Amps for me, or Tanaka and keep Aaronson at 10, although we haven’t reall...

Re: How many games before we change manager

I think this is a bit of a cop out on your behalf Cjay. I said recently surely you have your idea of a viable alternative and now you throw in the Moyes grenade. Probably more of a sparkler than a grenade tbh. I was expecting a young(ish) hot prospect from you. After all you spend your life studyin...

Re: How many games before we change manager

Would happily take Moyes as he'd be a far better bet for keeping us in the PL should we get there. Bags of experience and not only qualified for Europe but won a trophy there as well. Not sure the football would be any better to watch than Farke's but all round he has to be the superior manager of ...

Re: How many games before we change manager

Ok let’s have this hypothetical discussion. Moyes is a good manager, but I can see him back at Everton as Dyche is in far more danger of getting the tin tack than Farke in the short term. Everton are only a few results away from their early season form becoming a crisis. Thereafter assuming Farke i...

Re: How many games before we change manager

I’d always be hoping for young manager to the Moyes type. Maybe if its Emery level then a more mature manager is fine but giving young managers a chance seems to be the in thing. I say that with zero homework but it does seem to be the current vibe. But I suppose most fans want a marquee manager an...

Re: How many games before we change manager

Just to throw a grenade in. If they sack Farke eventually and he's still available then what odds on David Moyes being approached? He fits the bill. We have absolutely 0 imagination outside of ex English league managers. He worked in this league before (very long time ago). He'd be seen by the owner...

Re: The mystery of the Low Block

I think Gnonto is given license to come in field from his right sided position. DJ does not tend to do that and offers more width down the right. I would like to believe Farke will at some point play Gnonto at 10 and drop Gruev for Aaronson. The problem is who then plays on the right and who takes ...

Re: How many games before we change manager

Think maybe it's time you stopped merging the end of last season's stats with the beginning of this one. Fair enough once or twice to make a point but what happened last season is no longer relevant towards this season's points total. For example will you still be including the last 6 games of last...
