Re: Boxing chat

This could be quite funny

AJ is neither a YouTube personality nor a near 60 year old ex boxing icon.

Paul would last about 30 seconds.

Re: Promotion or not?

Automatic as Champions because that is what we should expect.

Despite less points than last season we apparently have a better squad and team so it's what we should be achieving.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 20th March) Why have Leeds performed so badly during early kick-off's

I know you don't like Rothwell but wheres the proof of that statement, Phillips is slower, and nowhere near as fit or agile and takes a pisspoor deadball. Rothwell has played roughly 200 less games for LUFC and hopefully his career is on the up, phillips' career is on the decline and rapidly so. In ...

Swansea pre match chat

I hate international breaks mid season "yawn" Eventually when proper football resumes we have a rare 3pm kickoff Swansea, 29th March Unbeaten in those incidentally, won 8 drawn 2 so good omens. As for the reverse fixture (was a 3pm kickoff) it was a close on, a late Willy Gnonto goal saw us come out ...

Re: International players a weakness in the championship?

It's not a weakness If anything it shows the strength of the squad. 15 International players which is 10 more than Burnley who themselves have a very strong squad. It shows the depth we have. Managing the squads minutes and taking into account International call ups is just part of a managers job ...

Re: Please reassure me

If we match our results in the reverse fixtures then we win the league. If all 3 of us do that we win. So that is the comfort. But pressure does funny things as we know. I still think Burnley are the ones to watch. The big problem they had was goals, they didn't score enough. Since February that has ...

No point worrying :) But this season and last looking very similar Screenshot_20250316_200411_Samsung Internet.jpg This was this point last season Unfortunately for us we blew the opportunity next game, Leicester lost, we drew vs struggling Watford who only won 1 of 7 after playing us and Ipswich ...

Re: QPR V Leeds United Match Thread

Farke is a creature of habit. I don't think it's fair to blame Aaronson, or for example DJ, if Farke keeps selecting them when they are out of form, confidence, or fatigued.. Farke has other weapons at his disposal, but is stubborn as f**k about deploying them. He has a squad made available to him ...

Re: International Break....

Don't know exactly.

Burnley have 7 or 8 who have recently been full international players or youth.

Sheffield United 6 or 7

But whether any of them have been called up no idea

Re: QPR V Leeds United Match Thread

Tricky though cos as we saw with the cup performances we were disjointed with change. So if we'd made changes for the league matches and then maybe lost a few more matches then we might be in a better shape physically etc but looking up at our challengers and not down. I'm not against rotation and ...

Re: QPR V Leeds United Match Thread

I would be guessing that he was suggesting that previously Gnonto hadn't been convincing him in the 10 role rather than today's match. But that because he is learnign more to create situations is why he decided to give him the 45 minute run out today and had been thinking about starting him there ...
