Yeah and I'll believe it when I see it!
Id hope to have one in by Wednesday to do murderball on Thursday so he can play vs Newcastle.

Our lack of preparation this January has been pathetic.

Re: Brentford Thread

Brentford have offered Christian Eriksen a 6 month contract with an option for a further year.

I was watching that day Eriksen collapsed, the single most traumatic thing I have seen on a football pitch.

If he can continue his career anywhere then good luck to him.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 17th January) - Harrison hat-trick destroys Hammers

I think it would be very dangerous to just assume we will survive now. A quick count up of pur points total against the sides we have left to play gives us 12 points (then we have Villa and Liverpool to play again as they were postponed). If we repeated those 12 points we would only get 34 points wh...

Re: Another Bielsa record...most teenage debutants....

Oh I appreciate the reasons, and obviously if he could do a Villa and simply haul in a player on 400k a week maybe he would have done so. But the fact remains, it's a record, despite the constant refrain here that he frustrates the progress of youngsters. Surely we all agree that, whatever the moti...

Id say Gelhardt, Hjelde and Cresswell are the most accomplished so far.

Summerville and Bate are next level down.

Then Drameh, McCarron and Mckinstry are the biggest question marks of the debutants.

Hopefully as you say they all come through and can be part of the team for many years.

Re: Another Bielsa record...most teenage debutants....

Its a nice little headline for MOTD but the only thing it shows is we have had a lot of injuries. Dig deeper and 5 of the kids have played less that 1 match of minutes, Cresswell has played 94 mins and 4 of them have played less than 1 half. Drameh asked to leave because he was frustrated (rightly o...

Lot of Raph vs Bowen comparisons going on.

Bowen is class but Raph is different gravy.

Rumours are gathering pace that Everton will appoint Roberto Martinez who was the first manager Moshiri sacked . . . . . .

Overrated is Martinez.

Re: January 2022 transfer speculation and squad discussion

Maybe he's just been told to keep quiet? Maybe I'm just clutching at straws, but it seems a bizarre rumour to make up tbh. It's come out of nowhere. Does seem odd but noticeable that Anderson hasn't commented either way If it was true surely he would back up his mate? Edit. A Belgian journalist has...

Re: Player Ratings v West Ham (a)

Meslier-6 Felt he should have done better for the Bowen header and doesn't command his area enough from set pieces. Ayling-6.5 his distribution and defensive positioning was poor but better offensively which raises his score. Firpo-6 . Was doing well but can only give a relatively low score for his ...

Bate did nothing wrong but experience won out moving Klich further back and Rodrigo occupying Rice (with fresh legs and also in an attacking sense)
It worked very true

But won't do Bate any good, can't be nice

Don't like to see subs subbed.
