Re: Summer 2021 squad and transfer discussion.

New link today coming out of Germany again. From a fairly reputable souce German source, Bild. Hertha BSC forward, Brazilian star Matheus Cunha. A Brazilian Youth International star with 16 goals in 13 games for the Brazilian u23s. Was top scorer at the 2019 Toulon Tournament which Brazil won. Can p...

Re: Summer 2021 squad and transfer discussion.

I think the consolation prize for not getting De Paul was Raphinha ... I love Raphinha, Well done Victor Goal every 3.75 games for De Paul and ditto for assists ..according to who scored he has 9 of each Goal every 3.88 games for Raphinha and assists is one per 3.33 games . Raphinha plays in a toug...

Borna Sosa Looks quality, never heard of him admittedly and Youtube videos can be misleading but he looks decent. Over 6ft to which is nice considering our previous issues at set pieces. Top 5. Struggling to pick 5 but i can pick my top 1. Raphinha. I think whilst its hard to pick a top 5 i think a...

I thought the fake Sheikh was as funny as it could get . . . . . I was wrong. Erik Alonso, the bloke who the idiot Sheffield Wednesday owner correctly identified as a fraud!!!!!. Well he started off making big claims, he would buy £20mil players if he needed to to make Derby successful EFL asked for...

Re: Summer 2021 squad and transfer discussion.

2 new links today, both from the Bundesliga. Both Croatian internationals. Firstly, 23 year old left back Borna Sosa of Stuttgart. Versatile player who can play either as a left back or a left winger. Known for his crossing ability he is also over 6ft and has a decent aerial presence. 10 assists thi...

Re: Edinson Cavani

He's the best striker in the league. If we'd signed him, I think we'd be top 6 given how points we've thrown away through missing chances. For all the talk of wages etc, he'd have worked out a lot cheaper than Rodrigo. Hopefully we learn our lesson and sign Aguero. :) After that Paneka I'm not sure...

Re: Spurs Thread : Spuds fans kicking off big time in response to possible appointment...

I'm on the Spurs forum and they have a next manager poll. Graham Potter is first choice, seems a bit unambitious. Erik Ten Hag is 2nd, he doesnt want the job. Brendan Rodgers is 3rd, why in gods name would he leave Leicester for Spurs now? Would be madness. Ralf Rangnick is 4th, that would be a good...

Re: Edinson Cavani

Hindsight is a wonderful thing but has to be said Manure got it right. Cavani has been brilliant. With minutes played taken into account he is on a goal or assist every game!!!! 15 goals and 5 assists in all competitions. They arent getting 2nd or the Europa League final without him. Fair play to hi...

Re: Summer 2021 squad and transfer discussion.

Paddy will likely sign a new contract in the summer. The club also plan on opening new.contract talks with Dallas and Roberts. Maybe Phillips also according to Graham. Raph should be top of the list before all of those imo. Dallas has a contract until 2023 and tbh i doubt we would get many offers fo...

I still don't see a top premiership player there. But I'll keep shtum because I know I can't argue that here without recourse. I know I've tried I agree actually i dont think he is a top Premier league striker. I dont think his finishing is good enough. But how much do you pay for a top Premier lea...

Re: Crysencio Summerville - DEAL DONE

Congratulations Crysencio

Nominated for the u23 April Player Of The Month.

He has had an awesome season.

6 goals and 5 assists in just 12 games.

At most clubs that probably guarantees him a place on the bench and a cameo reward but i very much doubt that will happen with us.

The fact Wednesday stayed up last season despite their FFP breach was a disgrace.

No way Derby should be allowed to cheat another team out of a Championship place again.

Big fan of Pereira.

No idea what his tracking back and defensive game is like but offensively he would be perfect.

He also knows Raph from Sporting and Raph has commented on Pereira's social media posts in the past so they do have a friendship.

From the very reliable David Ornstein.

Paddy has had his contract extended by a year, 2023 now.

He has admirers including Liverpool with Klopp a known fan.

Would you sell?

If so how much for?

I really think you have the best approach. A few months ago you were in a discussion with someone that was beginning to get contentious. Instead of it escalating you simply said "we don't agree" and "I'm not going to get upset by it" and "let's move on". Problem solved. Thanks Bob :) Yeah that sums...
