Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 5th December) - Injuries to forwards could open the door for Gray debut

You didn't mention Okafor in your lead who seems an obvious choice (and Gnonto) as there are no wingers in the current 5-3-2 formation

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 14th November) Corberán odds tumble

So you're not posting as often because of the Farke debate & stopped doing the competitions a while ago, Andrew. Sadly, it seems like you have fallen out of love with the MOT forum. :( Yeah. It's kind of getting a bit boring. A while ago there was a post about why so much is done by so few. And why ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 14th November) Corberán odds tumble

Part of the reason I've stopped participating of late (almost tempted to ask for a refund on my site contribution) Too much "who's going to replace Farke" talk. Like let's just stir stuff up so we have something to talk about I'll just stick to watching the games and following actual happenings for ...

And the Meslier report would represent another tremendous loss. That situation should have been managed a whole lot better for better financial reward. As mentioned above, someone is going to make a huge profit off that deal, and it's not LUFC

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 29th October) - Could Leeds cash-in on Bornauw in January

Bornauw is a bit of a dilemma. We need that 4th CB even if he doesn't make a full strength bench. An injury to one CB and he'll be getting plenty of game time. I guess it points to lack of flexibility among our current defenders. We have 4 CB's and 4 FB's. And none of them cross over. The other ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 28th October) Brendan Rodgers availability sparks interested among Leeds fans

Not sure there is a truly measurable prime for managers - other than age and the onset of age related issues. I just think he does not have the same hunger, drive and motivation. Creating a new multi faceted structure within a club to make a team competitive, which I suspect involves tireless ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 28th October) Brendan Rodgers availability sparks interested among Leeds fans

Not keen on Rodgers. Likely past his prime. I think managers are just human beings. They're great, inspired, for a while. Then they get tired and lose their mojo. A few have maintained high levels their whole careers. But the majority only have brief moments of magic. Tiredness, burn out, life. It ...

Re: Perri or Darlow to start vs Burnley - Poll of the Day (13th Oct)

Darlow was looking great for a while. Then had a couple of weak goals conceded - granted deflections didn't help, but he looked a little slow to react.

Perri has been slow to settle but he's the better quality. I'd go back to him.

Re: 9 more current PL footballers you dislike, required.

I understand a lot of players on the list. But as a fan of England, I still appreciate them. I recognize Pickford as a twat for Everton. But he's been brilliant so many times for England that I actually like him.

Re: 9 more current PL footballers you dislike, required.

McGinn - nasty at times and we lost a year of Archie because of him. Fernandes - as a player he’s good but for his personality while on the pitch, he’d be my default for the Twat of the Week thread. Both at the top of my list. And Mings for that twattery with Bamford (before Bamford scored the hat t ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 10th October) - Saudi billionaires prepare to lure Gnonto away from Elland Road

Yes, it is a bit of a concern! Healthier life balance. Gym, working in sobriety, reading, and work. I try not to get too enmeshed in the day to day drama like I used to. I check in daily to glance through the updates. Then turn off and do something more productive. My head feels a lot better for it.

With injuries to James and Gnonto, Rhys Chadwick makes sense. From what I've seen he's the next best prospect after Gray. Better than Chambers who was more advanced last season.

Not enough attacking options on the bench. With Gnonto0 and James out, should have Harry in as an extra option. Not much use having 3 defenders.
