If not can we play hardball with the toon?
Thats the thing. There isn't and the Toon have played their last card by forcing the 1 yr extension on Longstaff's contract

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 9th July) - How long can Leeds wait on Muniz

Last year of contract. Langstaff also said I prefer them to get money for me when I leave so now is the right time (else he leaves on a free next year). If Newcastle are not giving him a new contract, you'd think they'd bite our hand off for £12m... I say move on... Indeed. Newcastle renewed his ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 9th July) - How long can Leeds wait on Muniz

Be really interesting to see where we go from here. The signings so far, and I’ll include longstaff are solid but there’s none I’d yet say significantly move us towards been competitive in the prem. We’ve spent half the reported money already so what next? We've spent £30m. If we get Perri or Milink ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 9th July) - How long can Leeds wait on Muniz

We're also at 24 (technically) squad members ignoring Joffy/Gyabi/Greenwood etc. We have 11 home grown, we must now include Gnonto and Joseph and full squad members (last season they would have counted as U21's and not against the squad limits) We are likely to move one or two (Mes/Jack should move ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 9th July) - How long can Leeds wait on Muniz

Lukas Nmecha (free)
Jaka Bijol (£15million)
Sebastiaan Bornauw (£5million)
Gabriel Gudmundsson (£10million)

Has to be said - I think we have spent very wisely, BUT, I'll be livid if Sunderland break FFP, and stay in the Prem at Leeds expense....

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 9th July) - How long can Leeds wait on Muniz

If we're hanging our hat on Muniz (which would be incredibly risky), then the deal needs to be done and dusted before pre-season training starts. Isn't that next week? They reported back on Monday. Traditionally then there's two days at Leeds Beckett to look at the stats. That would mean the squad ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 8th July) - Leeds intensify pursuit of Stach and Longstaff

Hi EB, I agree unless he's absolutely a must have, we should be talking to others, my worry is he's holding out for a better offer, when he could come here and become a legend rather than chasing the money or is it Fulham are the ones causing the delay? He also wants a World Cup place too. Would be ...
