Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 5th May) Do Leeds need another striker

Never got the hype with Davis. Would like to see Summerville, Gelhard, Greenwood given a chance. What hype? When he broke into the first team a couple of seasons ago he did really well and it looked as though we had a promising left back (we may still have). For whatever reason he hasn't progressed...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 5th May) Do Leeds need another striker

I see Gelhardt more as a number 10 than an out and out striker and I'm convinced he's good enough to make the first team next season. If we do buy another striker it will probably mean Greenwood will only be our third choice striker. MB had the perfect opportunity to give Summerville a run against M...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 4th May) Bielsa defends Bamford decision

Who, from the U23's will make it onto the big stage? Who should go out on loan, and who is ready to make the first team? Will Bielsa give the youngsters a chance to shine? Difficult to say as we have never seen them play for the first team, other than the debacle at Crawley, and it would be really ...

When I was working in Romania, the restaurants served soup in a hollowed out loaf of bread as a starter! It was a meal in itself.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 4th May) Bielsa defends Bamford decision

Rangers will have to qualify for the CL group stages and there endeth their interest in the competition, just like Celtic most seasons. So if Ryan Kent is happy with a CL preliminary round followed by a few Europa League games so be it. The rest of his season will be spent playing against teams who ...

I take it Gelhardt is injured?
He hasn't played in the last two U23's games nor has he been on the bench for the first team.

I only saw the last 25 minutes so I'm not really in a position to give ratings this time.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 29th April) Could Leeds be tempted by Sampdoria sale?

I agree. We have five players to cover the three positions (DM and CB), and all have proven themselves quite capable at the PL level. No need to go shopping there. Or at GK, either. Can we make an attacking midfielder out of Rodrigo? If so, if everyone is healthy we could have: Harrison Paddy Raphi...

Re: A whole new level of stupidity

I think there are idiot car drivers and idiot cyclists! The Bain of my life is Cyclists using footpaths which is against the law. I can be walking along the footpaths with houndie and out of nowhere whoosh! I don't say this lightly either as a dog was killed when a cyclist hit him on said footpath....

Re: A whole new level of stupidity

As a keen cyclist I can only sympathise with Velotrax as the same thing has happened to me but only very rarely. As long as I haven't done anything to warrant the abuse I will tell the motorist to go forth and multiply or stop the car and we'll 'discuss' it further. So far no-one has accepted my off...

Re: Cassette Tapes are back!

Horrible things, binned mine years ago and replaced them with CD's.
I remember being on holiday in Gt Yarmouth in 1982 with my mates and lugging about a massive ghetto blaster all day as we walked up and down the promenade trying to impress girls.
