Re: Sunderland v Leeds Utd Match Thread

They had first 10 and last 10, we had the 25 in the middle.
They're getting at us too easily. I can't see them not scoring a second at the moment.

Joseph will be disappointed obviously but coming on against tiring legs might suit him.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 4th October) - Gruev out for at least six months

Difficult to say whether I'd take a point right now. If we play well and dominate but only get a point it will be disappointing but if we're hanging on and manage to dig out a point it will seem like a point well won. All things considered though, a point won't be a disaster. They're unbeaten at hom...

That was such a soft spot-kick from Sargent, about two feet to Meslier's left.
The way he dived was bizarre.

Re: Sunderland pre match chat.

They got at our defence, but how many shots ? Other than the penalty. We were very good defensively last night away from home. Worry !!!!! Based on what ? Sunderland will be a different proposition but this is a winnable game. I would stick with Joseph, his first poor game last night, every player ...

Re: Norwich City v Leeds Utd Match Thread

The current injury list:
Ampadu
Wober
James
Solomon
Schmidt
Gruev
And add to that, Bamford clearly isn't match fit.
The international break will actually be welcome this time to gives others the chance to rest and heal.

Re: Norwich City v Leeds Utd Match Thread

We didn't deserve more than a point purely because we didn't test their keeper enough. Norwich were poor though.
Strange time to make the subs when we were well on top after scoring. The changes completely upset the rhythm.
Quick turnaround for Sunderland. Hopefully no more injuries.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 1st October) - Ampadu out of action until New Year with LCL injury

No point worrying about Hamer, we didn't get him and that's that. We'll see what we're missing very soon when we play them. There's no denying we really need a playmaker no 10 but we seem to be coping okay with what we've got. Amps, on the other hand, is going to be a big miss. We now walk the CB ti...

Re: Premier League Thread

I remember the problem Keegan Bradley (PGA Golfer) had with spitting. Very similar to Pep. Many times before every shot. Then the PGA had a word with him and he stopped it. Still a bit of a freak but at least he’s stopped with the endless spitting. Maybe the PL should have a word. No golfer annoys ...
