Re: Leeds Utd v Chelsea Match Day Thread

I have a horrible feeling Sterling will win them a penalty on Sunday.
I'd much rather our defenders were marking someone like Lukaku rather than Sterling.
However, I do feel we have more of a chance of taking something from this game than we did last season.

It will be interesting to see what happens regarding Kristensen once Ayling is back and fully fit.
I can't see either of them being happy at being on the bench for any length of time.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 17th August) Media sources claim Sarr close to signing

I fail to see how Aaronson and Harrison can be classed as wing backs when we play four at the back. Aaronson is a midfielder who happens to be playing on the right in JM's current formation and Harrison is an out an out winger. Yes, they may be required to help out their full back with defensive dut...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 16th August) - Leeds trust the current first team squad to be successful

If either Bamford or Joffy are not fit enough to make the squad this weekend then either Joseph or Perkins should be on the bench so we can stop arseing about with the theory that Dan James is a CF. Young they may be but you can't teach goal scoring, it's just something that comes naturally. Joffy h...

Someone from a lower level like the Championship is much more viable regarding getting another striker. Someone happy to make the step up knowing they are unlikely to play every week but be a squad player.
That's why the links to Sarr and Pedro hold more water.

Re: Southampton 2-2 Leeds Match Thread

I was absolutely bladdered last night and didn't see one second of the match and have just woke to read this here. It sounds astonishing he didn't make subs, has he explained that anywhere yet? How badly did we capitulate ? Because this is very worrying as teams will now be studying how Soton got s...

Carrick Dave wrote: Sat Aug 13, 2022 5:44 pm Does Drameh not figure in Marsch’s thinking if Kristensens’s having a mare? What’s the point of him being on the bench then?
I'm pretty sure Drameh will be sent out on loan again once Ayling is fit.

Re: General Chat

Loch Katrine. Sure we went there when playing golf in Scotland. Stayed in Killin. Is it the place where you get the ferry to one end and then cycle back if you choose? Is is indeed Jaydog. Where you get off the ferry at the far end there is a nice little cafe that does a lovely breakfast. Our cotta...

Re: Southampton v Leeds Match Thread - Marsch names an unchanged Starting XI

That is so disappointing.
We totally dominated for 70 minutes and let them back in.
I think Jesse may regret not making the substitutions sooner.
Two points dropped against a poor side.

Re: General Chat

Anyone suffering with midge bites more than usual this summer? Four years ago we went on holiday to Scotland and had a cottage on the banks of Loch Katrine. Beautiful cottage but the midges first thing in the morning and evening were horrendous and I got bitten to death, so much so it gave me disco...

Re: Jesse Marsch Pre Southampton

JM talked about all his striker options but didn't mention Joffy!
He even gave two of his youngsters a mention.
