Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 4th November) - Leeds back in automatic places but Casilla facing 12 game ban

As a Leeds fan, if Casilla is guilty of the offence, do you want him at the club? Is it unfair on Leeds Utd (and the player) that the FA have to go to extraordinary measures to try and convict a player? Have you ever heard of this done before? Wasn't a lip reader brought in to try and find out what...

Re: Badges help

I'm presuming you already look on Ebay. There is usually a plentiful supply of all things Leeds United for sale especially badges and while most are just different variations of our badge from over the years, you do often find some specific to a particular supporters club / pub etc etc.

Re: What needs to be changed?

2 rather depressing weekends on the trot now. Head in a bit of a spin. Sometimes I look at Bamford and think he is turning into Steve Morison during his time with us. Sometimes I look at Casilla and think is he any better than Silvestri? Sometimes I watch Alioski and just see a better looking versio...

Re: Biggest rivals for promotion?

If only we had signed a 25 a season goalscorer I kept on rattling about in the summer we'd have walked this league. Now it will be squeaky bum time & it will probably go to the wire I fear as we drop points like confetti at a wedding. I believe we should have scored at least a dozen goals more than...

Re: IPTV Smashed !

How times have changed. Oh for the days when we had to make do with The Big Match, Midweek Soccer Special, Saint & Greavsie and staying up for Nationwide Football League Extra on a week night at 1am before going in to work the same morning at 6 to be told you looked like sh*t. I didn't care I told t...

Re: Ashes 2019 : England v Australia

Well.. 200/5 and the Ashes could be retained by Aus in the first hour with the new ball due in 6 overs. Has it come down to Stokes once again or can Bairstow or Buttler find a notable score to get to that follow on target. It needs to be reached to have any chance of taking the series to the final g...

Re: Ashes 2019 : England v Australia

Monty Panesar on SSN: "I'd keep the same team for the 4th test and just switch Roy & Denly around." In my opinion Roy is no test batsmen and needs to be replaced now. Moving down the order would make little difference. A number of his failures have been down to poor technique, an inability to read w...

Re: Top of the league

Or you could look at it like this. We swept aside a Bristol side who have won 3 on the trot since, showing they are a decent side in the process but made to look like relegation fodder on the day by us. We did unpick Forest once and unlike relying on "the hand of Roofe" goal like last season it was ...

Re: Ashes 2019 : England v Australia

Good resistance this afternoon and although I wouldn't say it is finely poised at least we are still in with a chance. The key will no doubt be the new ball after a few overs in the morning. Reckon if we can get to within 100 with 1 of Root, Stokes, Bairstow or Buttler still there it could be a tens...

Re: County Cricket Championship

Kent all out for 40 in their second knock. That's just incredible. The wickets have been falling at an alarming rate over the last two days in that match and Essex will require 153 to win. I reckon if they get the required runs then that should be the title wrapped up along with it, leaving Yorkshir...

Re: Ashes 2019 : England v Australia

We do have a lot of very good bowlers bar maybe a decent spinner.. Agree I think we have enough in Broad, Archer, Woakes and Stokes nevermind JA to cause them as many problems as their attack will cause us during this series. All Leach needs to do is continue his CC form and he could have a big say...

Plumb LBW overturning Aleem Dar's decision

71 for 4
Glad he went early. It's only the 2nd test and I'm already sick of him pulling faces and sticking his tongue out while at the crease. Almost annoying as Warner and his gloves. Early walks for those 2 are fine by me.

Re: Ashes 2019 : England v Australia

While Johnny B did quite well for his half century with a measured innings I can as ever see where Boycott is coming from. In the 1st test while SS was making his runs in the first innings batsmen came and went. Smith was protecting them, especially the tail enders by keeping himself at the crease, ...

The thing with Roy is he is 29 now and has spent the whole of his international career in ODI and T20 and only made is test debut a few weeks ago v Ireland. His inclusion for me is simply desperation by the selectors at what is an ongoing problem of finding an opening pair capable of holding their o...

Re: Ashes 2019 : England v Australia

I think Leach coming in for Moen is a given for the 2nd test and see how he fares. Moen is really out of form. Rashid is also an option and would relish a shot at the Aussies in the 3rd test at Headingley. I can't see where the runs are going to come from to be honest to win this series despite good...
