Re: Marcelo Bielsa

Can't believe people are looking forward to Bielsa leaving already. I think he could take us to the very top, if he chose to stay and was adequately backed.

I'd rather we end up with an Argentine player I've never heard of that Bielsa rates, than overpay for players from Brentford and Norwich.

Re: Roofe to Rangers

I thought Rankin had a Raith connection, but it seems his loyalties were divided. I remember Siobhan being Hibs, and thought Rebus had mentioned Raith, but it's a long while since I read them.

Can't wish him well at Rangers, unfortunately. Shame, because I liked him as a player.

Re: The 5:2 diet: A guide and meal plan

The problem with any diet plan... The minute you stop it’s all back on and plus some. If you need to keep the weight off it’s more a lifestyle change than a diet. That's why 5:2 works for me. I find it easy to have a couple of days a week where I don't eat much, and I don't really have to think abo...

Me too, I also hate the feel of Tomato ketchup.
I can't bear the feeling of oil or grease on my fingers either. I'd rather not cook something if it means greay washing up, which is why my favourite meal out is probably a fried breakfast.

I'm more averse to certain textures than smells. Egg custard makes me gip just thinking about it.

Cheese on toast is one of my favourite snacks which is generally in my weekly food intake, also Jill includes cheese in some of her cooking which is always a delight. Crisps always went down with a pint I have to admi...

Re: The 5:2 diet: A guide and meal plan

Ice cream is so good these days, so many local, quality makers, it's hard to resist. Living not a million miles from Bakewell, I have an aversion to the puddings. The sugary Mr Kipling imitations are far preferable to the 'real' thing. Cheese and beer are my downfall, and beer makes me want to eat c...

Re: The 5:2 diet: A guide and meal plan

I was doing it at around 500 calories, so just some soup and bread. Could try cutting out the carbs, but I need to be a bit less indulgent generally. Ice cream, chocolate, beer, cake, crisps etc etc.
