Re: Michaël Cuisance - DEAL OFF?

Athletic are saying that, some others are suggesting otherwise. I'm just laughing at the 'injury prone' jibes that are coming out. The guy has missed 10 games in 5 seasons due to injury 😂 Medicals don't just pick up problems in the present - they sniff out serious problems in the future. And no one...

Re: Michaël Cuisance - DEAL OFF?

I agree with the sentiment but not every talented player needs a guaranteed starting place. We only have to think back to the injury crisis we had in 18/19 to remind us that quality in depth is essential. The quality of opposition in the PL is such that the players coming off the bench need to be a...

In retrospect, I certainly agree. If this whole RDP/Cuisance episode has shown us anything, it's that at least we're trying to be ambitious with our signings. That's some comfort.

Re: Michaël Cuisance - DEAL OFF?

Icing on the cake signing Richard True enough. We got pretty excited because a new MF would've been the last piece of the puzzle but there really is no massive urgency. Not enough to get taken for a ride with an injured or injury-prone player who could've snapped in half in his first murderball ses...

Re: Today's Games

Pretty glad we didn't go for Wilson in the end. I've always quite rated him but his first touch is pretty bad. Wouldn't have been much of an upgrade if any.

Reckon we'll be able to divert Brentford's bus and kidnap Benrahma before the deadline?

Re: Michaël Cuisance - DEAL OFF?

Ugh. That's what I get for looking at transfer rumours, even ones that are true and deals that are done. I'm never going to believe a player even exists before he kicks a ball for us. Cuisance? RDP? Just figments of my imagination. They're not real.

Re: Today's Games

Brentford much better than Fulham. Would have been a better premier team Bad results at bad times destroyed their confidence a bit I think. Not capitalising when they got beat by Barnsley (?) when a win would've taken them above WBA, I think that was what did it for them. All too familiar concept f...

Agreed. If he were Pablo's replacement we'd be looking at playing for Champions League qualification without a doubt.

Re: Other fans forum opinions

Interesting mix. The City lot seem to be level heads for the most part, surprised at the bit of pessimism there but sensible assessments for the most part. And of course the obligatory antagonistic to**er to round them off. More surprised at the questions asked of Berge in the latter forum, honestly...

Re: Leeds Utd v Manchester City Match Thred

Honestly, I think a sneaky win would fuel too much hyperbole in the media right when we just need to keep our heads down and grind out performances.
