Re: The LUFC Weekend Brunch Debate. Pre-Match Debate
1) Your team to start v the Seagulls today? Meslier, Ayling, Llorente, Cooper, Dallas, Raphinha, Klich, Rodrigo, Harrison, Bamford 2) How much will we miss Phillips today? We'll be fine today, I think. 3) If you were at the game today, would you applaud Ben White? Aye. 4) Who do you consider Brighto...

Interesting so far. Looks like Big Sam's got a bit of derby fire in them so far.

Re: Leeds Utd v Brighton Match Thread
I think it will be Llorente and Cooper. Sounds like they've both been training for the past 2 weeks so they've had enough time. Ayling back to RB and Dallas to LB. There's always a possibility of Dallas in midfield, but everything we've heard suggests Strujik. Whatever the lineup, Brighton have a f...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 15th January) Bielsa leaps to Casilla's defence
Yes, mate. I'd love to see MB stick around and get us progressing on the big stage, as that again retains stability and confidence. He got it badly wrong last Sunday, but he's got us playing great football (most of the time), back to the promised land and really brought some integrity back to our c...

Re: The Film Thread
I have just watched Copland for the 1st time... good grief, it seems like the cast of the Sopranos (Minus Tony) and the cast of Goodfellas all in 1.. Enjoyed the film too... It was good to actually see Stallone allowed to show his acting chops for basically the first time since First Blood and the ...

I've already voiced my concerns regarding Kiko. But you just can't argue with the big man, and he's already shown more forgiveness and compassion than a sizeable portion of our fanbase. I just hope Casilla can repay that faith.

Obvious misgivings aside, still a step up in terms of quality. These are the names we want to be linked with.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 14th January) Contract snub alerts Leeds to 'lightening quick' left back
Another text from a good pal £2 mill for larouci ? ...snap him up at that - I watched him a few times in full games for u-23 on LFC TV , and i would rate him as highly as Tsimitas (who is before him for left back pos). 20yrd old, £2m - snip ! U23 but hardly a neophyte. Would probably get into the f...

And that's largely been affected by his forced change in position, very nice.

Re: Derby in Financial Trouble
It seems even their own fans can't decide whether Morris is a genuine fan-owner who has tried his best for the club and been unlucky, a wheeler dealer who has run rings around everybody and will yet pull a rabbit out of the hat, or a financial and footballing incompetent who has taken them in five ...

My head says Dallas, my heart says I still need to give Ali something for that goal v. West Brom.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 14th January) Contract snub alerts Leeds to 'lightening quick' left back
An LB good enough for Liverpool - to the point where they've been trying to get him to sign a new contract - is good enough for me. If he's good enough he'll be playing in the first team soon enough, like Raph, Koch and Rodz. Make no mistake, that is a priority position as between Alioski's suitabil...

Re: Today's Games
Of all the teams behind us, Fulham have been playing the best football most consistently. They are unlucky to be where they are. Parker's drastically changed the way they've played, which is what's resulted in better performances. The team and tactics bear no resemblance to those in the best part o...

Re: Leeds Squad stats so far...
All our weaknesses highlighted on the defensive side of our game The main weakness is the low number of appearances apart from Ayling and Dallas between all our defenders. You could also say it's a testament to the strength of the team and manager as a whole that we're in the position we're in desp...

Re: Casilla and Meslier - The Apprentice No More
Good read, that. I've defended Kiko in the past and won't get involved in off-the-pitch issues that have no bearing on his ability, but it was quite clear after that game that his Leeds days are finally numbered. I've been happy with Mes since he first started and my opinion of him's only grown with...

Re: Derby in Financial Trouble
It's self inflicted, so no sympathy, especially with how they have behaved towards Leeds in recent years. A spell in league 1 should chasten them. Just hope the ordinary employees don't suffer, whilst the culprits walk away with their millions intact. Unfortunately we all know that's just not going...
