I thought that when he pulled of that close in save from the header...

Then he spilled a corner 5 minutes later :roflmao:

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 18th January) - Brighton exacerbate Leeds United's January blues

Agree totally Chapel on Dallas, Ayling & Pablo, always has been my stance. At least Hernandez will work his socks off as oppose to our lazy £27m signing. We are generally poor without Kalvin or Pablo, with neither in our starting XI we are a shambles! Can't believe I'm saying this but after Spurs &...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 18th January) - Brighton exacerbate Leeds United's January blues

Morning folks.

10 of the players who featured on Saturday also played in the away loss to QPR two years ago. 9 started the game.

Continuity or calamity?

Re: Positives & Negatives v Brighton (one of each please)

Don't know why people seem to be suggesting teams/managers have found a way to negate Bielsa. We saw it in the championship where we'd play sh*t for a couple of matches , not look like scoring etc, but would then sudddenly click back into our way of play. We just have to accept that when 2 or 3 pla...

Re: Where will we get the five wins we need?

And that's the problem , when it works it's great , but goes wrong and it goes wrong big time . Probably 5 players of genuine top flight quality at the club , some average and some probably championship level . The depth most definitely isn't there it's a makeshift defence right now , at least two ...

Re: Where will we get the five wins we need?

You could rephrase the question, and ask how Fulham in 18th are going to turn around an 11 point deficit against Leeds. That's what it would take, currently, for us to end up in the bottom three. Unless you assume we're 'falling apart again', it isn't going to happen. I suppose the answer to that c...

Re: Where will we get the five wins we need?

Anyone else think it might be a blessing in disguise to come 17th?

That way it makes it more evident where the future signings/ breakthroughs need to be made.

Mid table and we may be stuck with contract extensions on some who really have hit their peak.

It just pushes the issues into next season.

Re: Where will we get the five wins we need?

Trouble is we can be beaten by anyone as well because of our in consistency. We have had a decent run against teams lower than us but some of them are finding their feet. We should have turned Brighton over. I would hate to be bookie right now and peg odds for us. Thats very true, we will blow hot ...

Re: MB mid term report

I will always be grateful to MB and totally accept that he performed miracles with the team. But just as a good club manager does not necessarily make a good national manager and vice versa, so too does a good second tier manager not necessarily make a good top league manager. The last time we play...

Re: Elland Road pitch

Grounds that have the spectating area close top the pitch can struggle to dry out as there isn't as much room for air to circulate. That along with the short season which prevented the work being carried out hasn't helped. Plus games played when the weather has been atrocious has cut it up too. We h...

Negative Klich thought he was awful,no energy and his passing was dreadful
That's what happens when there are so many square pegs playing he is left to cover the entire midfield on his own.

Positive. We didn't concede from a corner.

Negative. Until that pitch gets some help we can forget about dynamic wing play.

Re: MB mid term report

Look Brighton did a job on us today and got away with it. What worries me more is contract talks with Alisoski. he along with about 75% of our squad are just not good enough to play in this league week in week out. They are however good enough to keep us up, especially when we get back to two regula...
