Have a lovely time in Cornwall Ian....we will miss you on here come Saturday :scar1
Thanks Swannie, I am torn between Google alerts, reading the matchday forum later or waiting for highlights on Quest.

Maybe the team will do better without me...

Re: KARAOKE

Well done Norm. My Karaoke career crashed and burned when I tried to sing Roy Orbinson’s O Pretty Woman to a girl I met when I was on holiday in Corfu. All my hard work wooing her ended after two minutes of my inane warbling.,, A true tumbleweed moment Can’t remember her name but she worked in a clo...

Re: Leeds Utd v Birmingham City Match Thread

Shakes fist. I wrote out a well considered plan for bringing Brum ( or WBA ;-) )to their knees on Saturday and when I pressed submit I was told that the topic does not exist. Howls with rage  Basically it was that we should go three at the back on Saturday, Ayling and Douglas (or Dallas) the wi...

Re: Eddie Nketiah

The problem is all us armchair managers do not have to deal with the players personally, Bielsa is a peoples person, ( this is just my opinion, and I'm going to get slated for it), but I feel he is looking at the players character, that he likes rather than the downright man for the job? lets be ho...

Re: Eddie Nketiah

Yet Bamford will be picked on Saturday instead and we'll drop more points because of it. At least he should feel right at home after the penalty miss though I suppose. You know SG I worry that it is getting to the point that Bamford might actually find the net on Saturday. Why worry? Because it wil...

Re: Nketiah impresses with hat-trick for Young Lions

Must be frustrating for the young lad whose been banging them in all season. But MB has a pecking order, for better or worse we saw last season how hard it is to force your way up that. We all love MB but he is stubborn and flawed like us all. If we dont get a decent run going Cjay I have to say we...

Eddie notches for the U21s again this evening. Surely he will start for us soon?

Re: Derby players Tom Lawrence & Mason Bennett charged with drink-driving

Not many get a custodial sentence for a first offence.

No previous, Bennett will probably be required to attend a rehabilitation course and will also a DVLA medical.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 15th October) - Leeds have improved in every area but one compared to last seaso

Last month Eufa fined a few countries for racism at their home matches, yet some of those counties will be hosting Euro2020 games next year. Id have taken away their hosting rights.

You need to go large to face large issues.

Re: QSI investment could take Leeds United to Manchester City levels

The trouble is the FFP rules have made it harder for clubs to do what Man City did. We could get all the investment we wanted but couldn't actually spend much mor ethan we already have, barring being very creative such as selling our ground to ourselves. I think AR is doing it right in that he is g...

Re: QSI investment could take Leeds United to Manchester City levels

I recently did a little bit of background on clubs in the Championship and the league below us. Since we were relegated around about 16 of those clubs had tasted Premiership football even for a short time. Barnsley, Wigan, Huddersfield, Reading, Qpr Sunderland, Stoke, and add to that the likes of Bo...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 14th October) - Tabloids stir over Nketiah recall

Morning all. The papers are always in the look out for any Bielsa related controversy, something that can feed into the El Loco narrative that has obviously still many miles left in its tank. Because you would be mad to leave a highlight rated future star of the game on the bench, a player who just ...
