If I find myself on death row it has to be a bargain bucket. ( I have never actually had one, and I only do KFC about once a year)

Re: What the pundits/press/coaches are saying about Bielsa's Leeds

From the Athletic: Genius Bielsa turns human beings into dynamos By George Caulkin May 9, 2021 151 Leeds United have two front feet. They do not compromise and there is no respite and when plan, identity, fitness and form all slot together, there is no more exhilarating or exhausting sight. They mov...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 11th May) - Do Leeds consolidate or push on for Europe?

Europa League wouldnt be good for Leeds this time. There is no money it. Also we benefitted from others distracted by Euro involvement and we need to continue to capitalise on that as we grow. Also remember Leeds borrowed money in lieu of future TV money so we want to continue to progress domestical...

Re: Summer 2021 squad and transfer discussion.

Maybe it's rose-tinted specs since he's one of our own Ian but I think Bielsa might have a good look at McCalmont this summer as potential backup to Kalvin. Apart from him, I'd like to see what Bogusz has about him in years to come - the mooted Legia deal with a fixed-price buy-back option would be...

Re: Summer 2021 squad and transfer discussion.

I'm interested what happens to the 10 loanees when they come back. Not sure of their contract status but Edmonson, Douglas, Temenunzukov and Hosannagh. I wonder have a future here. And of course De Bock is still around somewhere. I think they have come to the end of the road I believe that the Bogus...

Re: Elland Road and other stadiums

Football grounds used to fascinate me as a kid. I always loved the works of the architect Archie Leach was famous for Spurs, Everton, Rangers, Villa, Arsenal, the list goes on. The big giveaway was of course the signature two tier stand with the white balcony and the steel criss cross metal work. ht...

Re: Patrick Bamford

I agree actually i dont think he is a top Premier league striker. I dont think his finishing is good enough. But how much do you pay for a top Premier league striker now? £50,60,70,80mil? How many top level Premier league players do we have in truth? Raph? Probably about it really atm. I think Llor...

Re: Patrick Bamford

Have to disagree I am afraid...he creates lots for others with his play by drawing away defenders, he has what 5 assists, unselfishly for a striker with a couple... 2 really bad var offside decisions against him...he could very easily be on 20 gioals this year , but as you say a model team player ....

Re: Patrick Bamford

Bamford surprised most of the Leeds fan base this season. I think most of us expected Rodrigo to be ahead of him but what does Bamford do? Scores in the first three games of the season. Hard to drop a striker who does that. I think Bielsa has what he considers a model player, someone who genuinely w...

Morning Folks. As my old Dad never said. And rightly so. A win on the weekend puts a shine on a Monday. Loving that our win has caused such soul searching at Tottenham. Long may it continue. Re: Leeds Utd v Tottenham Hotspur Match Thread - Unchanged starting XI, Phillips and Raph make the bench

Just watched the MOTD coverage. All OK apart from the commentator (not sure if it was Jonathan Pearce) waving the naive banner after they scored. Naive? In footballing terms what does that even mean? It just sounds such a put down. At least the BT coverage was full of apologies towards Leeds after t...
