Re: Qatar World Cup 2022. Argentina v Mexico

I'll buck the trend.

I'd still have De Paul.

Adams will have ot away on his toes within a year and he would be handy to have around.

Yeah after Jesse banged on all week about playing in a heatwave and how he had it in hand.

Hope he learned something.

For the last time.

Radz owns BOTH.

Unless he falls out with himself we are ok.

Re: What is the point of 49ers Enterprises?

The problem is, unless the club actually owns ER, rather than owners, any extra events will go into their back pockets and not the club's coffers. You seem really hung up on this about the ground. https://www.thebusinessdesk.com/yorkshire/news/2006365-elland-road-returns-leeds-united-ownership &quo...

Re: What is the point of 49ers Enterprises?

The big unknown is what the 49ers want. But allowing Leeds to be used as a vehicle to build brand awareness in the NFL isnt to be ignored. Especially as that sport is gaining traction in Europe. It is hard to put a number on that. Elland Road ( or a new ground) used as a host for future big events, ...

Re: What is the point of 49ers Enterprises?

I'm reading that the Saudis may be circling with interest in Liverpool and Manure.

Looks like the options are now.

1. Sportwashing
2. Hedge Fund.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 24th November) Are radical changes necessary for Leeds to climb the table

Morning folks. 31 isnt old in football terms. If a player looks after himself he can go on. I was always impressed by Cooper and Dallas who quit alcohol when Bielsa came in. Look after yourself and extend the career. Leeds would be mad to ship those lads out in January, we need them all. Reassess in...

Re: What is the point of 49ers Enterprises?

Get used to it.

Also 49ers leverage all sorts of businesses to fund the sporting side of the organisation, so it is quite possible that Leeds become the beneficiaries of that type of activity.

Re: What is the point of 49ers Enterprises?

That first sentence is the nightmare scenario imo. But again experience in the NFL is one thing, Premier League is a different beast with a very uneven playing field. It's even different from when John Henry took over Liverpool. A lot more wealth and a lot more willing to invest. Maybe the time of ...

Re: What is the point of 49ers Enterprises?

They will borrow money to build. Only wrinkle will be interest rates. 49ers have power behind them and also the experience in big sport. Experience in stadium rebuild too. Comparably Radz had neither but has done bloody well to be able to turn us over fur a profit. Imagine that LUFC actually worth s...

I have no issue with the debate being contentious and EB does well to make the effort to post up.

That said he has posted erroneous information at times which isnt on imo.

Phil Hay would laugh his leg off at some of the ways he has been misquoted on here.
