Re: Gary Lineker

Always liked him, great player and interviewer and presenter.

But it seems you aren't allowed to have a social conscious if you are in the media.

He has outgrown the BBC anyhow.

Re: Experience is essential in the Premier League.

While experience would be an asset Pl players need to be able to think quickly, and the recruitment needs to reflect that. Those split second decisions coupled with the ability to execute are a must and will make the difference especially as we are expected to adjust our strategy. Quick thinkers can ...

Re: Who is the best manager in the championship?

Farke isnt in the champioship as neither are we, but if he was he wins.

I wonder how Leeds United would rate some of their "fans" opinions of them??

Re: Who is the best manager in the championship?

Ah there we go back to Cjay's 'lets invent stuff that nobody actually said.' No one hailed Farke as a Messiah for finishing third but plenty were of the opinion that he'd done a reasonably decent job given the circumstances of the summer. Burnely may have had a lot of upheavel but were left with ...

Re: Ethan Ampadu

The club statement was to protect one of their own players from hostility within the fanbase so I understand why they made it.

It wil not have been made without the knowledge and consent of the player I suspect.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 15th May) - Leeds prepared to play hardball in Solomon negotiations

If Solomon wants to come play for us then that will dictate how much we pay for him methinks. The big issue will be the wages he is on. Harrison going out on loan was the one that irked me more than some of the others, but if we comes back that would mean that we lose Wee Willy or Rama, or that we ...

Noone will buy him so may as well let him run his contract down, but that doesn't mean we don't sign a striker.

Id have Josh Sargent off Norwich.

Harrison £20M Gelhardt £3M Gyabi £2M That's before we count the £10M for Kristensen that's incoming this summer. Ok not all home grown for PSR but still £35M incoming before we even start with the first team squad. Edit: Just remembered Harrison signed on an initial 3 year contract so has already be ...

Excellent, plenty of dosh to spend if a) we can and b) Niners will The way I read that is that we can have a big war chest IF we sell some players - the example used was £50M can generate £250M PSR headroom. I can see us hard pressed to get that type of number for our players. Noone will want B ...
